Tonight we were making our rounds at the local bars. I met a girl who told me she was from Estonia, and I was drunk and told her I had never heard of that place (sigh, should've known since a 2p2p'er is from there).

We go to next bar. There's a band playing Rage covers. I dance awkwardly by myself in the strobes. I spot a girl by herself. I tell her that she looks to be in need of a dance partner. Her response was "no."

So I go back to the bar by Malefiicus. He's sitting on the bar stool and gradually leaning back further and further. Eventually he leans back so far that the bar stool gives out and he falls on the floor. Instead of getting up, he just lays on the floor for a while, and when several people ask him if he needs a hand, he replies, "nah, I'm going to wait until it's less awkward."

Linux question: I want to record a session. I'm currently using VirtualBox+WindowsXP+PokerStars. I've heard good things about CamStudio. Anyone ever tried this in Linux? Will I have trouble getting it to work with a generic headset?

I've used the record functionality built in to VMWare before with no issues, but the file sizes ended up too large ... and no matter how I tune the guest operating settings XP always runs "chunky" for me, so sizing the file down from raw format -> avi took to long ... I think I tried with CamStudio once too, and those file sizes were also unwieldy ... obv not specific to linux & host / guest variables, but it becomes an issue when you're running a box inside a box
