+1 to this. Thinking, Fast and Slow is a really fascinating book. But the more I think about it, the only real lesson to draw from Kahneman's work is that certain cognitive defects (if that's even the right word) exist and that all we can do is try our best to develop personal heuristics to limit the negative effects of our irrationality. If you do anything that relies heavily on making decisions, then the book is must read imo.
