Easy fold? SB haven't donked yet in 7 opportunities, seems a bit fishy so far. As for preflop, I'm raising effective MP since MP is sitting out. I think I fold this UTG.

Hand 1: always open this pre, even UTG. SB's stats seem reasonable, so I'd just let this go 4ways w/o better reads

Hand 2: Peeling for a flop is fine, but this is a pretty overrated hand, actually. Not a ton of potential. Then again, you should be playing a lot of weaker combos too, so...

UTG doesn't seem to have much positional awareness, and I suspect he's raising around 40% from this position. BB is playing 27/19/9, so his flat reps a decent hand.

What's our plan on this flop 3way? I feel like I played it awfully weak, but I'm not sure.

Some PPT numbers:

Vs a 40%!AA range and a 12%!AA ranges, we have 51.2% equity on the flop. We have the best hand on the flop 44% of the time. 36% of the time, one of our opponents is holding a flush.

Hi there! I'm not sure what you mean with BFP, maybe Blue Fire Poker, but I was wondering thesame about a lot of older stuff I find on PLO. Most of this stuff is from around 2010/2011 and probably stopped after black friday. How much of this stuff could still be considered useful? For example, how much is the player pool changed? The general playing styles, compared to 2014? I assume the general poker theory still applies.

Can anyone shed some light on this? Apreciated!

@Ph33rox: flop and turn are pefectly std. OTR you could consider raising as villain is unlikely to have the nuts with this sizing, but you don't rep nutflush very well, more like str8flush, lol

How light can we gii on lock down boards HU @SPR 10-12 vs a competent villain.

e.g.

T86
(TT,88,66,T8,T6,86):J9, (T,8,6): (QJ9) ship or flat?

At what SPR do these hands become mandatory gii's?

2/2 live, 9 players

co (hero) = $200 A 8 9 T
effective stacks = $200

preflop:
utg limps, mp pots to $10, hero calls, sb/bb calls, utg calls

flop ($50): 2 3 7
checked to hero

3 out of the 4 opponents are capable of c/r pot with the naked Ace.
If I was going to bet to find out where I was, I would bet $30.

check? Bet $30 with 9high flush? or bet some other amount?

not sure about pre, and about raising flop with dry nuts here.

I think turn and river are pretty straightforward, what do you think?

Is this a decent hand to 3bet BTN vs CO? He was 29/18 over 138 hands.

The BB flat calling is a reg, FVCB 71% over good sample, I don't think he's raise folding the flop pretty much ever.

A "competent villain" has more weak semibluffs in his range the lower the SPR gets. At ~6-7, pair+OE is a pretty std jam/call. at 10-12, jamming those hands to gii would be spew. You just figure out a point when weak semibluffs are no longer profitable jams and stack-off ranges tighten significantly. Not an exact science.

Green line = red line + blue line
AIEV = Green line with EV adjusted for pots all-in before river

Relationship is debatable

@Ph33rox: hand 1 raising to protect is fine OTF. You considet a small barrel OTT to protect vs sets and lose minimum vs flush. River is close, very tempted to call vs a reg. hand 2 is fine to 3bet, flop std

Hi guys, I have a question about game analysis.

I'm trying to think of a handy system to save/mark hands in the session and the ability to write a fast comment with it for later review. I have HM2 and this gives me the ability to mark hands but I can't put a comment with it so when I review the hands later I sometimes forget my thought proces and the exact issue with the hand. What system do you guys use for this? Or are there any handy websites out there which lets you upload hands + comments for later review?

You may find some such threads in the Grand Digest, but those themes are too wide for single threads. They are skills you gain through experience. Post hands and discuss those posted by others, join study groups, get coaching.

I don't think there's a quick way around this, it's prob best to just review the session quickly to remember the notes on the marked hands

Well, your green line is ~5k BBs above AIEV, so technically speaking that is the case. Your AIEV, red line and blueline are all positive though, so you're obv playing well too

How do zoom-players label villains in Pokerstars? I can't label them after the cards are shown because it instantly deals me a new hand and if I open the label dropdown list on them before cards are shown and label them after, it puts the label on me instead. Do I just have to remember the names and add the label next time I'm in the same table?
