A question rather than a hand, but going through my "vs players" list today I've noticed that all the guys im losing big to are the ones playing a 3bet a lot and cbet big a lot strategy.

How do you counter this? Should I be folding to their 3bets more? Getting it in lighter? I'm trying to logically think it through but wondering if I'm missing something.

fold a lot more to 3bets OOP. (open less oop)
flat cbets more to stress their range w/ hands that have good turn cards/are autocalling

in both spots he snap c/rses (also snap calls flop in this hand)

There's a lot more that he could have there then 63 - Kxxx with a heart draw, crappy 2p, 67+hearts. Also if he were drawing, I'd expect a lot more 67s then 63s, but you never know with any4 players.

Probably a good spot to get it in - if a heart lands or the board pairs, you may have to call off his river shove.

I'd call twice there.

Possibly fold K or heart.

Would he shove on a brick? If he c/cs down after getting his raise called previously, would shoving be better? Calling might be safer, I'd just hate getting bluffed on Kings and hearts..maybe even 3s

If he has a made hand with decent equity he's not gonna fold it to your turn shove anyway, so you don't lose any more by sometimes making bad river calls than you would by shoving the turn yourself. On the other hand if he does this with some stupid hands with really low equity/bluff, you win the max by just calling twice. So essentially calling gives us one more possibility to make a good decision against him, and also give him some rope to continue with his bluffs.

And most importantly, I think it's important to some stronger hands in our flatting range against an aggressive opponent. By flatting 63/A3 in spots like this we make it way harder for him to overrun us or valuetown us thin in some situations. Even if villain is a maniacal fish, calling him down lighter (and slowplaying/trapping more) probably forces him to give up some of the aggression or at least makes it significantly less profitable for him.

    Maybe c/c?

    He could have air on the flop and is giving it another stab, or boated up his trips. It's unlikely he has a flush, and probably checks back trips.

    villain had 55/23/5 stats 6max. 65/37/9 HU.

    table broke but he was pretty easy to play against. and he got his huge stack earlier getting it in very bad in multiway pots (example: T977r on flop QsJs6 3ways) where he managed to run on godmode.

    super std ship right?
    HU is not really my game. i didnt want to see any turncards that could slow down the action...

        Just jam it with those stacks, we could still have some FE against two 60 VPIPs and our JT is also the best made hand sometimes when we get called.

        Nakamator, he's not folding much to CB in 3B pot, he is IP here so the % should be even lower. I think i bet 25-28 and give up on any river except A, 9 & 5 if he call.

        I decided to run some numbers, what do you think about this? Im not sure how accurate they are or if im doing it right tho...

        - Villain has a Raise first of 26% from MP;
        - He 4bets 6% and fold to 3b 17%. That means he calls the remaining %, which is 77% call 3b;
        - His opening range 1st in from MP = 26%. From that range, we can assume he is calling 77% of the time my 3bet, which means a range of 20% remaining hands he continues with.

        Would be right to assume that im playing my aces vs a 20% range then minus AA** (since his 4b range = 1,1%)?
