Is that really how they stopped them? Seems crazy if so. I thought they were using some sort of screen grabbing software to read the hands themselves rather than relying on the HHs. Stars doesn't allow observer HHs yet that hasn't stopped PTR.

im going to buy one and im pretty clueless. probably gonna buy a BMW or honda. resale value is important to me. what are some things i have to consider?

had one for a very short period of my life. a friend of mine crashed with it and nearly kicked it himself as well... needless to say the resale value for that particular bike wasnt on par neither was my motivation to get a new one... still feel the itch sometimes though

so anyway, are you looking more for cbf600 / xj6 or are we talking ZX10R or S1000RR territory ?

//edit: does clueless mean you dont know much about buying or are a not that experienced driving?

if the first one, there are plenty of boards, test, reviews. if the latter, i guess the honda cbf series or the shadow if your more the cruiser type

I have a Harley. I haven't seen a specific thread on motorcycles, just some people posting about what they ride in the lounge. What's up?

Edit: saw the next post.

I like the BMW personally. Had a K75 that was awesome. Plus they have some interesting engine designs. Big negative is locating parts unless you are euro. Honda's a re reliable and easy to find parts for, but tend to hold less value.

I ride a GSXR600.

Its a blast to drive for sure, but I tend to behave recklessly on it.

Each year that I grow older, I seem to value my life more; Each year I say I will quit next year, but I haven't yet.

pls pls pls don't start out on a 600 thats way too much for a noob rider.

get yourself a cheap ninja 250 for a few hundred bucks take the MSF course and learn to ride and then get yourself a real bike.

edit: also make sure you invest in top of the line protection and wear it ALL THE TIME.

they should really give out a free magazine or two so people can see what the content is like, after seeing what most training sites are putting out im reluctant to hand money over sight unseen for training material

But on this topic, the best documentary ever ,

Its about the yearly circuit race through the streets on the Isle of Man. Absolutely absurd racing, and so dangerous that the finest GP racers wont race it (Rossi included).

Several hundered deaths during this race. Pretty bizzare how ever single participant is able to just sort of shrug and say "its part of the race". I dont think I can link torrent sites, but I assume every here is savvy enough.
