Yeota,

They have "lil drums" mini drumsticks that are like 120 cals and a great small dessert. I also really like having small portions of very rich gelato, but I'm not going to recommend buying multiple pints of gelato to people in this thread haha.

Yeah I've had those before. They aren't bad. I go with the mini light ice creams because I can buy like 10 flavors for variety.

Cha and Yugo turned me on to the rolling thing, I had never heard of it before (I thought those rollers standing in the corner of the gym over by the yoga mats were used to roll up the mats!). I'm sure dropping all this weight is the #1 thing that has helped my once-sore knees, but the rolling has got to be a close second place.

And I never liked hard boiled eggs, but I haven't tried 'em in years, I'll give 'em a whirl.

Yeah!

Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch today. Wings + beer = 1250 calories. Yikes!

Lloyd's ribs so delicious. 1700 calories for the rack. Split between lunch and dinner so it wasn't too bad.

Boiled some eggs but having an awful time getting the shells off. Just gotta use older eggs?? Like a week old or what?

Ben and Jerry's peanut butter world is incredible.

Wasn't gonna drink this weekend. Then had 4 beers while golfing yesterday.

Then 4 more at happy hour. Then went out and had Idk how much more to drink. 4 slices of pizza and some peanut butter twix later and I will not drink tonight, haha.

213.5 today, a new low. Gonna treat myself to something, not exactly sure what. Maybe just 5 guys. I'll probably even stay within my limits.

Little burger no cheese all the way, 615 calories. No fries, not worth it. Even the little is over 500 calories according to their site.

Haven't weighed myself in a couple weeks but I saw a bunch of old alumni friends who came up for a rugby tournament and a few of them commented that I was looking slimmer. Undid some of that with many beers at the bar, though.

Nice! I was 214 this morning which I'm pretty pleased with considering I was sick and only went to the gym 2x this week, and i drank twice.

One more week for me before the beach so really gonna crush this week.

Daryn: awesome, congrats!

Yeota: congrats! But I'm a bit worried for you. Isn't the beach where you eat 1200 calories a day and still gain tons of weight?

The week started out well. But fri/sat/sun killed my chance to end under goal for the week.

Friday's problem was the lunch and b-dub as previously discussed. Wings are killer.

Saturday was mostly done in by the 22 of Ninkasi Spring Reign that called to me from my fridge. I would include the bread and cheese my wife and I ate fro dinner but it was too delicious and since that was all we had for dinner not actually that bad calorie wise.

Tonight we had friends over for margaritas (sidebar: pro recipe for a margarita is equal parts lime juice, triple sec, and tequila over lots of ice - yum) and my wife made enchiladas w rice and beans, made for a delicious 1200 calories.

Not an atrocious week, pretty close to the target. I'm starting to realize, though, that coming in under target requires 1 or 2 of those super low 1300ish kind of days. 1780 is just a harsh target (looking at you MFP). I mean, those 2100 days (which isn't actually bad at all!) have to be balanced out with 1460 days?!?? That's nuts!

Goof,

1) uh, no, that is a terrible "margarita" recipe. Double the amount of tequila and you're getting closer to something reasonable.

2) when you're at calorie goal levels like you're talking about, exercise becomes way more important.

MFP just lowered my target to 1810 the other day. I'm not happy about it.

1816 here. We need a support group. It gets to the point where around 8pm I just fantasize about what I'm gonna eat the next day.

Exercise def more important at this point. I have been forcing myself to do something every day even if it's just a brisk walk w the dog to burn 75 calories or so.
