No, it's not that you're angered, it's the level of your anger that is off-putting. You are choosing to be upset over something you have no control over and impacts your life not at all. That's just weird.

Maybe the lion was wearing a hoody and had a pack of skittles. We don't know all the facts yet.

not sure how accurately you're gauging my level of anger here from two short posts, but do you really find it so weird that people care when they read stories like this?

I watched a programme 2 days ago about atrocities being committed on Sri Lankan Tamils by their own government. It has no impact on my life but I found myself angered and upset over what has been happening over there. Is this weird, or do I need to provide a vague indication of my level of anger to pass your weirdness test?

Couple of things:

1) There used to be a time where killing a lion made you super badass, but that hasn't been for at least 50 years.

2) Think of how many zebras, warthogs, antelopes and buffalo were spared from being torn to shreds in a violent death.

Well, I choose not to be upset over this showing I'm in control of my life. I recognize that there are things I can't control and so I don't waste my energy on them, which is pretty healthy. And a lion being legally hunted in another country has literally no impact on my life, so I got logic on my side too.

Trifecta baby!

Such a joke how Lions and other "majestic" or "special" animals are somehow more important than other stock standard animals like rats.

They all have equal souls and the fact that these unique looking animals get better treatment than other equally souled beings makes me sick

Its just like in real life how beautiful people get preferential treatment for job ops and club entry

**** this lookist world, its not fair

Regardless of the topic it is a special kind of stupid to claim people should only get upset about things that effect them directly.

they wanted to close some dam in some part of America that doesn't matter(aka not the Northeast or California) and they wouldn't because there was some weird bug that was super rare that lived in it I guess, so they didn't.

I agree with your overall sentiment, but that mostly comes from ******ed celebrities who go to oil spills to save cute baby seals cuz OMG CUTE BABY SEALS

the LOL IT'S LEGAL BRO argument is probably the dumbest one so far

-Africa is the worst in the world at everything except natural resources and marathons, but most of all crime and bobsledding.

-a moral code of ethics can easily go beyond what is allowed. It's legal to eat 30% of a meal and ask for it free because you didn't like it. If someone did that in OOT it would be a five star post in the "what's the stingiest thing you've seen someone do" thread, and rightly so.

Goofy I'm sure someone pointed it out already but reading your posts I got so frustrated I just went for the reply.

People would be a lot more pissed if she murdered a human being and bragged about it to all her friends.

Lions aren't vegan.

Wonder how many of these bleeding hearts have seen a lion rip apart an antelope and start eating it while it's still alive.

lol I'm the furthest thing from a vegan but this is really really bad. Should the lion whip up a sick veggie burger? Or grab some tofu and make an awesome vegetable stir-fry? No, cause it's a lion.

Vegans are wrong but they have never lost an argument because every omnivore takes the absolute dumbest stances and presents the stupidest arguments against veganism.

a lion rip apart an antelope?? never in all my life!

even if that were true, i would have thought there would be a distinction between killing to survive (i assume this is why a lion would do this) and killing for whatever pointless reason that ridiculous human in the op had.

Agreed. Don't want to make it seem like I don't eat a ton of delicious meat. I'm probably anti-posing with corpses of lions though.
