My gf and I stayed at a B&B farm-stay in rural KS this week. When we first pulled in 2 large great pyrenees and a chocolate lab came running at us. It's always a teeny bit tense when you're pulling into a dog's territory and there's no owner around - especially 3 large powerful dogs.

But these guys all had tails wagging and heads bobbing and you instantly new you had nothing to fear. **** anyone who thinks an aggressive dog is a good idea.

Great pyrenees are awesome btw. They're bred to protect livestock and they take their job very seriously - chasing buzzards, anything suspicious around their territory. I want one.

Everybody PLEASE educate yourself on this beautiful, lovable, marshmallow of a breed.
From one of the comments in that story. After asking why the media only reports pit attacks.

Giant pitbull on my running route woofing at me today - behind a decorative 2.5' fence that I could step over w/o breaking stride. Awesome. I accidentally made eye contact. Does pepper spray work on pitbulls?

"The owner of the three dogs has not requested they be returned to him"

How the **** is that even an option? Dogs should be destroyed and the man should be charged.

You'll probably just end up with pepper spray in your bite wounds.

Pepper spray works well on dogs. It "works" on pit bulls in that it blinds them but it generally doesn't stop their attack. A fellow cyclist tells a story of pepper spraying a pit that was chasing him. The pit continued to run, eyes tightly shut, until there was a curve in the road and the dog continued to go straight and ran into some shrubs.

They tell me a telescoping stun baton is your best solution to prevent dog attacks.

Heard my bartender telling another afternoon drunk about a lawsuit she's facing because of her pit bull. Bartender's mother was watching her house when she accidentally let the pit out the front door. Pit bull ran over and started "fighting" with another dog. That dog's owner picked up "his little 3 pound dog" in the middle of the "fight" and the pit "accidentally" bit the **** out of the guy's face. It wasn't even a big deal but he ended up getting two surgeries and is suing her to pay for that now.

Was at Petco the other day and this stereotypical pit rescue chick has a brown and black pitbull pretty full grown. Dog was pretty chill, but just doing that creepy stare it does to other dogs, which is usually followed by nothing or death.

She goes "Oh she's friendly. She is great with kids and also great with other dogs. I've never had a problem." I'm like 'oh, nice.'

She follows that up with "We've had her for a week now. She's a rescue from down south."

With a sample size like that she should probably go get like 10 more Pitbulls. Preferably dogfighting rescues from down south. They're great with kids.

Dog attack in California: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-try-home.html

Quote:
The little boy was rushed to to hospital, and is now recovering from extensive injuries.

'He has a big laceration in his face, in his leg, he's had multiple stitches and he had to have plastic surgery on his face,' Mr Bishop said.
The papers didn't report the breed. Because them liberals clearly know it isn't a pit bull so they can't push their anti-pit agenda, right? Guess what?

Spoiler:
They are pit-bulls.

Got to see the owner of the pit in my neighborhood that's behind the 2' decorative fence - fat wheezy old white woman - probably on some disability scam. Some UPS guys were trying to deliver her a package and the dog was freaking out. They were pretty scared. I'm sure she'd be able to control the dog if necessary.
