Recommend me some good Hip-Hop OOT - Page 15 - Other Topics Forum - Discuss Pop Culture, Arts and Entertainment

I like The Game alot, his first two albums are classic in my mind and I like some of his mixtape work, but he gets a little too repetetive/stupid sometimes in my opinion, I agree his delivery goes hand in hand with the production he gets, but I get a little sick of hearing cherry red 6-4/Dr. Dre/rolling up a blunt and drinking hypnotic sometimes.

Those Compton boys aren't really known for doing much else.

Who do you prefer as a lyricist, The Game or pre-2000 Xzibit? I'll take old Xzibit any day, but I'm sure many will disagree. At the Speed of Life and 40 Dayz & 40 Nightz are two gross west coast albums, IMO.

I have honestly not listened to tons of old Xzibit so I'm biased towards game, but Xzibit definitely has a crap load of super ill lyrics and he definitely hits a MUCH broader topic than Game.

Big Chamillionaire fan, not really into Paul Wall at all but Chamillionaire and Paul Wall - Get Ya Mind Correct is one of my favorite southern albums.
