Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't g11 born around that time?

Edit:Maybe it was after the bet that you kept blogging about it.

Did stakes actually get set for G10/Custer? If not, seems a bit mean to be giving action to others without offering it to Custer first.
08-11-2015 , 04:05 PM
Ya I have 1k on the 3 shots best of 300 and 1k on him under 97.5
08-11-2015 , 04:06 PM
Custer,

Like I said earlier, pretty confident this is a $2k freeroll for him. I would be very surprised if he loses the o/u.

On the other hand, maybe you're right about him choking under pressure.

El D, will you escrow the $200 for G10 & I?
08-11-2015 , 04:16 PM
El D,

I send you Balvenie 12 year old Doublewood if G10 shoots over 101.5, you send me Santa Teresa 1796 if G10 shoots under 101.5? Quote to book.

(Tried to adjust line a bit to account for G10 taking action on 101.5, and your level of "shocked"ness about the 97.5.)

cit: Not betting on Grear/Custer unless I decide I want to root for one of them.

Grear: Post a list of the stuff to be escrowed. I prob won't escrow for people I'm not familiar with from the forums.
08-11-2015 , 04:26 PM
$2,000 with custer
$250 with Banned
$200 with Redbuck

EDIT: EC and I won't be needing an escrow
08-11-2015 , 04:29 PM
Diablo, why on earth would you ever root for CC?

Ya I know you think that. But irregardless of pressure shooting, unless he was sandbagging back like 4-5 month ago with tbab I can't imagine being much worse than 40% in this bet even if he does practice a bunch.

It's admittedly not as an insane number for him as I probably first thought. But if I say I'll bet something I will.

Are you gonna play the "I wear my k-swiss" commercial on youtube before you shoot to pump u up?
08-11-2015 , 04:36 PM
Odds g10 is a jump shooter from the foul line?
08-11-2015 , 04:38 PM
May have been asked & answered, but will you two be setting up a live stream for this? Or just updates?

Custer will probably have to set it up. He's a lot smarter than me. I'll pay 60% of the court fees in exchange for that.
08-11-2015 , 04:42 PM
Custer should bring in some high tech video recorder type ****. Put the spotlight on me, cause me to choke harder.
08-11-2015 , 04:45 PM
Are you guys gonna suck each other off before or after shooting your free throws?

Do you recall what numbers were discussed w/ babs?

From seeing grear relentlessly negotiate before finally making a wager in other situations, I just don't see him setting an o/u for $1000 he can't beat. And this is something you can easily go find your present number.

I guess it's a possibility that he went and shot 14/20 free throws and was like, great, nbd to go 16/20 with a little practice.

Diablo, do any of us know how good of shooters we are unless the PRESSURE is on?

I think mentally he viewed it more of a hedge. Instead of 2k on the hu he hedges to make half of it indepdent of my skill. This way it values him training still as well as it decreases variance. I think mentally thinking he can do 70/30 from ft/3s seems like an easy enough number for him to imagine training can get him there.

He has clearly showed he is using extra bets as incentive to practice and I think this was the driving factor for him putting half in the over under.

I also think he is over valuing the mystery shot. I at has to be fairly close to the basket and it's fairly limited. Although I think I personally believe things should not be allowed that very well may be considered fine by you/him...but meh.

The original babs numbers were like 58 and 27 or something.

Or maybe I got hustled . Who knows

That's 85. Maybe you're hustling me?

When the mystery shot was being discussed, and it came to light that an NBA player had made it in a game, did it actually count?
