I actually give beast a lot of credit with DFS, he figured out after only 1 day that he had absolutely no chance at it. Which is kind of impressive, because that is tailor made and marketed to donks like him.

This crowd seems overly harsh on tbab. I'd guess there are hundreds (thousands?) of people on the internet promoting their own special brand of "math developed systems" that will beat the odds. Are there really people who can win consistently or are they all lying?

If it's just a matter of percentages, why isn't the crowd attacking all of them? (And why don't people just follow the person who is proven to be number one?)

Alobar: I think he gave up on DFS just because there's more direct feedback to his ineptness. The fact that his version of sportsbetting is basically coinflipping with vig effectively guarantees he'll have some periods of big positive streaks. Since he's able to just forget all memory of his decade-plus history of losing, that's enough to support his delusional belief of being a skilled capper who just has been victimized by unreal unprecedented bad luck in the past.

TBF el D I don't really remember him ever blaming bad luck on his past failures. He blames his lack of discipline most frequently, which is funny because he never makes any serious attempt to change. I think he sees his impulsiveness as a positive quality.

The main reasons he loses are bad officiating, fluke plays, and unreal bad luck.

Like that time the game went into OT and he missed his under and +4. Or when he only got 6 inning-ending double plays but they missed the one he really needed to make the under.
