Now that you bring this up I remember seeing this on the menu and laughing at it. It looked like some sort of white trash invention. Surprised to hear that it's actually good.

What is the best gyro chain? I went to this place called Greek Express in Florida once and it was life changing. Have been trying to repeat the experience ever since with no success.

I wasn't aware of any such thing as a gyro chain. Is this a thing? Only family owned Greek joints where I live.

Yeah I love gyros as much as anyone but I don't know of any chains. Here in POR the best place for them was a Greek family owned place that was like half convenience store / half deli. I was eating a gyro there once at one of their 5 tables or so and the 80 year old Greek guy who owns the place with his wife came out of nowhere and gave me a free (amazingly delicious) cupcake. He didn't even know English well enough to explain what he was doing. Sometimes Portland is just flat-out awesome.

If you're ever in California, Daphne's is fairly good.

59 locations, 3 states, mainly Cali though.

Had El Pollo Loco tonight, solid as usual. The family meal came with a new special dessert, Mexican S'mores. They were surprisingly good, would recommend (for fast food dessert).

"This new dessert, available for a limited-time only, features melted milk chocolate and marshmallows between crunchy graham crackers, stuffed in a warm chocolate tortilla and topped with a dusting of powdered sugar."

Less than it would cost to go to court + the cost of the bad publicity from going to court.

This sort of exists. Depending on location you can buy a Wendy's $1 keychain and get a free jr. frosty with every purchase until the end of the year.

I know PA/NJ/DE/KY states participate. Free blunts and frostys. Can't beat that

Didn't someone claim to find a human finger in Wendy's chili years ago?

EDIT: It was a hoax but still pretty funny. Well except for how much it hurt their business for a while.
