McDonald's Monopoly starts today, which is making me want to go there for lunch. I'm such a mark. But at least I'll get a tasty burger out of the deal.

What can I say, I still get the occasional Big Mac Attack. Though it probably barely qualifies as a burger.

I like the new Dipped Cone at McDonald's. The ice cream melted too quickly the one time I tried it though. But the flavor and texture of the chocolate shell coating is great.

Today I had an Arby's Ultimate Angus 3-cheese and Bacon Sandwich. I did a slight twist by putting two over easy eggs on it, yokes intact. I also used horsey sauce, steamed the bacon in the skillet while I cooked the eggs and ordered a side of (free) au jus for dipping, adding liberal amounts of garlic to it. It seems like it would be even yummier than normal, but oddly it was about the same. Still great, but not the fantastic "brunch" I thought it would be. Definitely this sandwich is vastly improved by always getting au jus with it like a French Dip. Horsey sauce is a must, even if you put your own fresh horseradish on the sandwich. Their bacon tends to be undercooked and soggy, so putting it into a skillet and firming it up helps. All in all, this is one of my favorite sandwiches in the fast food world, YMMV.

Coupons came in the mail last night. Among some interesting contenders were the vast array of Hardee's coupons for both breakfast and lunch. KFC included their "wall of coupons," too. While I had no desire to try the Chicken Little based on reports here, maybe BOGO for $1.27 would be doable. Cap'n D's always has awesome coupons. Don't forget your free dessert every week just for signing up on their website!

Also, FU guys and your cherry dipped cones. They took away butterscotch in Canada and all I can get is chocolate dipped. Definitely getting a cherry dipped in Seattle in a few weeks.

Not all of them actually. They planned to install 850 of them in their company-owned stores and encouraging their franchisees to follow suit (from wiki). Obviously there's a **** ton more than 850 bk's in the US, so most be franchised out and not company owned.

Lot of the flavors are mehh at best (grape sprite doesn't taste good imo, for example). Vanilla coke ftw and vanilla barq's ftw!!! (Not mixed together, but separately).

From the coca cola wiki, there was a black cherry vanilla coke that was shelved in favor of vanilla coke. There was coca cola blak, which was coffee flavored (wtf?). Coca cola citra.

Why no barq's floatz (omg I wanna try one)? Sprite Ice (hint of mint) might be really good or really bad. And no Sprite Remix flavors?

I pretty much always get either lemon coke zero or raspberry coke zero.

I didn't get it. My husband did. He brought it home without even asking me. I actually still have those weekly coupons for the BOGO free turkey sammiches on Tuesdays, but he had forgotten about it.
