Got the honey mustard and ranch crispy wraps today. Pretty good, and with BOGO coupon under $3 for lunch. Now I feel like I have to try BK again to properly compare.
Cant believe so many people actually spend money on the biscuit sammiches at mcd with literally eveeything else on the menu. I dont think theyre awful, but ive always found them too dry and find that itd make me finish my OJ well before id like to.
I had an amazing fast food biscuit this past week at a place called Tudor's Biscuit World. Unfortunately, the chain is mostly WV locations with a couple in other states, (OH, KY) So incredibly light, I'd venture they're better than 90% of homemade biscuits.
Bad for our health, no doubt, but delicious.

I also tried Popeyes and can't really say I was very impressed.

I haven't had a Whopper in ages, but I always ordered cut in half and had no problem. Sorry that your location fails.
Also the popcorn chicken at BK is very good, although I got it right out of the fryer. It's hit or miss because I've had their chicken products that have sat around a while and they are inedible.

have you had mcdonalds chicken mcbites? if so, how do they compare ?
I would consider a Publix sub just as much fast food as Subway, so I have to recommend the Mojo pork sub. $4.99 for a whole until next Wednesday, then regular price, whatever that is. All I got on it was a little mayo, spicy mustard and pickles and it was incredibly delicious.
the popcorn chicken i had at bk was pretty much inedible, like i actually threw the majority of it away. i remember the mcdonald's alternative being vastly superior in both the meat and the breading and the difference was way too big to blame solely on freshness variance.
All and especially El Diablo, I was reading about the "best" sandwiches in the USA today and one came up in the San Fran area. It's called Bakesale Betty and the sandwich mentioned is the Fried Chicken Sandwich. Have you been? Anyone else?
The blurb said the restaurant is only open three hours per day and sometimes not even that if they run out of bread!! Interesting sounding place but I haven't been to SF since 1991 I believe. Oy vey.
PM me for the link to the article if anyone (ED *hint*) wants it.

i ate at this place last summer. excellent all around.
Just popping in to say that those Doritos tacos are ****ing delicious. Supreme obv. Only 200 calories a pop!
Also I had a premium gilled chicken ranch BLT sandwich from
McDonald's today, and it was incredible. Delicious and only 380 calories, basically the same as a McChicken. It does cost over $4 though, but I had a bogo coupon (which I found out expired yesterday, sick).

Yeah it's very well known here and pretty delicious. I don't think it's like the most amazing sandwich ever like people say, though. But now that you mention it, maybe I'll hike over to Oakland this week...
