red beans and rice is a top tier FF side. Always the highlight for me. I usually stick with the chicken, but sometimes they have a good promo on tenders, wings, etc. People say good things about the blackened ranch dipping sauce if you like ranch, but i can only recommend the mardi gras mustard if you want something with a little kick.

Cajun fish and shrimp is very underrated. They rarely have it cooked so it will usually take 5-10 minutes but it is always right out of the fryer.

At my Popeye's, the regular price of a 4-piece mixed dinner (breast, wing, leg, thigh, biscuit, 1 side) is $6.50, which I think is a better deal that any offered on a similar coupon sheet here. But I'm a whole piece guy, not a tenders guy.

Is it weird that while I think bacon makes nearly every burger (or sandwich, for that matter) better but that after trying a Bacon McDouble I prefer it without bacon?

Im not completely on board with that, but pretty close. That mcdouble is nice as a soft sandwich, no need for that crisp.

Imo, thick, soft bacon >>>>> bacon so crispy it snaps.

I too like my bacon chewy. Been eating a lot of Domino’s as their carry out large pizza for 7.99 is the best deal ever, and their bacon is shockingly wonderful.

Also mcdouble is better with bacon, then with the extra piece of cheese (double cheeseburger), then just regular mcdouble

So my brother told me that he has been getting a couple of sides of nacho cheese with his Taco Bell orders and just covering his order or dipping his items in it. He said, “All of your favorites taste better with nacho cheese”. Instead of coming up with any retort, I went to Taco Bell and cheesed myself into oblivion.

This for sure. Mcds bacon works really well on a BEC. It does not work as well on a burger.

nacho cheese kinda sucks but is ok on some stuff, like ballpark nachos with those jalapenos

i thought it made terrible dipping sauce for the chicken chips
