The jalapeno one is spicier than the volcano quesarito imo

2 for $5 extra long sriacha cheeseburgers at burger king is making me seriously consider going there for the first time in probably 8 years

Someone else should go there first and talk me out of it please

Burger King - no reason to go EVER IMO and it's the closest FF place to my house that I bought 5 years ago and I have been a grand total of twice and immediately regretted it as soon as I took my first bite

I stand corrected the 10 nuggets for 1.49 are okay if desperate and you somehow get fresh nuggets

Anyone try the cali burger in seattle yet? If so, how does it compare to in n out?

I've been curious about the 2 for $5 long cheeseburgers. Last two times I went to BK it was better than I expected, but I haven't been back in about a month. I'll likely take a stab at them in the next couple days.

Saw an article in the times, pretty lol how much of a direct copy it is. Still intrigued of course.

Maybe it's time to reiterate this point:

Quit overthinking Burger King. Quit going to Burger King and ordering ham sandwiches and other ******ed **** like ham sandwiches. Order a goddamned Whopper. Get it off the broiler. Yes, there's even an "off the broiler" button on the cash registers. Eat a tasty as **** hamburger, then come back to the thread and admit that a Whopper off the broiler is ****ing outstanding.

I have coworkers who were itching to go this weekend. I'll report back if they made it.

Long cheeseburger is horrible. Great scam by BK. Spread out a $1.50 double cheeseburger onto a stale long bun, throw 1 extra cheap ingredient on it like sriracha or jalapeños and then trick people think they're getting a deal at $2.50.

I should have posted this in here instead of the "things that piss you off" thread, but does anyone else fairly frequently have a problem where you just want the sandwich or burger, not the combo, but they automatically make it the combo without even asking? I think this has happened to me at Wendy's maybe 2 of the last three times there where I just want the spicy chicken.

No because I say "spicy chicken sandwich, just the sandwich". Does the trick and there is no confusion. Also when they tell me my total at the ordering station, I'd be able to notice the discrepancy by the total price.

Well, they have to ask you what you want to drink in the combo and my local Wendy's has a screen displaying your order, and you should notice the price, so it's not a big deal if you have to correct them while ordering and lol you if you roll up to the window and get served a combo meal. The easy fix is to clearly specify just the sandwich when placing your order.

Of course I notice the price difference, it's just annoying when they try to sell me the combo when I just ordered the sandwich. One time I even said, "just the sandwich" and then the order shows up for like $3 more and I have to correct them. It's a minor whine, I'll stop.

I've been eating small TB breakfast and $4 Wendys meal nigh daily. I want something different, Mullen's post above seems smart and made me rethink BK long cheeseburgers. Definitely going to try the new buttery jack on Thursday.

Picked up a habanero griller at Taco Bell today and it was one of the best fast food experiences I have ever had. Freshly prepared, hot, contents were evenly distributed and it was grilled for the proper time. Wish that wasn't such a rare thing.

If i hadn't had in n out fairly recently I probably would have gone today. At this point unless it is >= In n out I can wait until the lines die.

U District, Seattle. Asian In n Out copycat, opened it's first store in the US.

Excited to hear they cook their fries different. Sad to see a "double double", fries and coke looks to run you $9+. (Burger patties are 30% bigger than INO per the article though.)
