That's the oldest/tiredest ff cliche in this thread, that zomg local places are so much better! Gimme a ****in break.

Probably be better to stay home and cook delicious things yourself while you're at it!

This is the absolute truth. I only went to family owned restaurants in the Chicago area. Never Taco Bell.

The only time this doesn't hold true is for people who don't live near Hispanic neighborhoods. I stopped at a mexican joint once on a roadtrip in the middle of Iowa. I might as well have found a Taco Bell.

I just saw a container of the white cheese at Sam's. Didn't give a close look. Damn fine melting cheese.

This just in: local places better than fast food! In related news, chain pizza of lower quality than family restaurant! And just off the wire - God Almighty himself declares Chick-Fil-A the only fast food he will eat. A little bit of breaking news: processed meats recently declared cancerous; WHO claimed Burger King as AIDS 20 years ago.

Just had it. Found it to be rather delicious. Especially if you're fond of caramelized onions.

Lunch - 6"(because I have to watch my calories)chicken & bacon ranch melt on herb & cheese.

Dinner - bacon double cheeseburger with large fries, $3 with app coupon, and $1 Jr crispy chicken(or whatever it's called).

Every bite of everything was just fine. Would order everything again.
I hope youre joking about watching your calories

It's literally garlic herb butter. And it's delicious.

I just tried it and can confirm it's very good. I think I still prefer the portabella version but since that's no longer available the cheddar version will make a fine substitute.

Would it be too weird for me to order the cheddar onion buttery jack without butter? Would I be blackballed?

It would still be good. Why without?

For as much as I love eating, I never add salt or butter to any of my food. Dry toast, dry corn on the cob, ask for no salt on my pretzel, etc.

But the buttery garlic sauce is super delicious.

I dunno, i was just super grossed out by all the butter the one time I got a buttery jack before. Burgers just don't need butter, it feels like a bridge too far. And I love fast food, including crappy fast food.
