Watched The machinist with Christian Bale. Not quite sure what to think of that movie. Reminded me of something Chris Nolan could have directed early in his career or something. Well acted. Good lord Bale is looks sickly thin in the movie. Maybe I'll watch it again to figure it all out. Or maybe if someone wants to explain it in spoilers I'll take that because I'm not quite sure I understood everything. Should have paid better attention I guess

The Fall is definitely worth watching. Some people I've talked to had trouble getting in to it, but if you liked the first episode I think you'll enjoy the rest.

lol what is going on with the title.

Season 1 of The Fall was much better than season 2, but go ahead and watch both for completeness.

Scrotal Recall.

I couldn't finish the first episode.

It was a jerkfest of characters, so if they all died of AIDS,I didn't really care.

Young and Hungry.
Trite predicable sit com.
Yet with Emily Osment and some Hispanic chick as her roommate, its a guilty pleasure.

I also watched mixology this weekend

It's one of the worst train wrecks that I couldn't stop watching.

To be fair, I was drunk/hungover 100% of the time while enduring it, which is the only way I'd possibly recommend it.

It reminded me of regurgitated "Happy Endings".
I couldn't stand that show either but ABC was bound and determined to get some bar hopping hipsters on the air in some form or fashion.

I think it's some fascination with "Friends"

I loved happy endings. The key to a good show about singles hooking up is that you either need to be really well thought out (like friends) or just own up to being silly and not trying to make broader points (like happy endings)

Well ****. Somehow stumbled across Philly recently and was about 6 episodes in. It got removed today.

But seriously, if you're not hooked by episode two, you're not going to like it.

I watched the 1st 2 episodes of Harpers Island and then it got removed. I'd imagine it will be re-added but who knows when. Didn't like it enough to buy the DVD though.

About time he had a new special. Will check out tonight. Remember his CC special back in the day and it was so effing funny. I know a lot of people say big jay oakerson bites DA's style/cadence but the fact that DA had him tour with him shows he respects BJO's comedy (love BJO as well).

Sex and murder are the same. Well, you say the same after both don't you? "Damn I got to get the hell out of here!" "What was I thinking!"

Remember when you're young and you think your dad is Superman? And then you grow up and realized he's just a drunk who wears a cape

If I need directions I'm not asking a man with one tooth, I'm asking a man with one leg. Cause he definitely knows the easiest way to get there. Yup, if there's a shortcut that one legged ****er knows where it is. You won't be hoppin fences neither.

He's definitely a comedian's comedian. I listen to a lot of comedy podcasts and have only heard other comics say great things about him. While his body of work isn't nearly as prolific as CK or Burr, he is one of the best in the game and has been for like going on two decades now. About to watch Road Work right now

Ever seen any of Tim Allen's gigs?

I saw Terminator Genisys last night; it was a throwback to Terminator 1&2 and was pretty good IMO. There were quite a few laughs along the way which kind of surprised me. Anyway I just noticed Terminator 1&2 are now added.

You're joking about Tim Allen, no? Know he was a stand up but can't imagine he'd be in the discussion of greatest comics (and know for a fact he's not in that discussion)
Dave Attell's Road Work was real good. Looks like most of the sets were a few years old, so some of the pop culture references are not current. Not a traditional comedy special, in that it's several different 5-8 or so minute sections from sets he did around the country. His style of comedy is not suited for the typical 60-90 minute special in front of one audience, so can't complain about that. Definitely recommend watching though.
