I can't believe all the people saying that 2 adult men can't survive a lone wolf attack feet from their own front door.

You'd get hurt, bad, but the two of you should easily be able to fight it off without sustaining mortal injury. You should even be able to kill it if that was your goal rather than escaping into the house at first opportunity.

Two able bodied males in their 20's not being able to escape a single wolf would be ridiculous and pathetic.

While he is gnawing on your friend (or you) the other person needs to shove a finger into the anal cavity of the wolf. Wolves hate that, and will immediately leave to find less quick-thinking wolf probing prey.

super fit 20 year old gets attacked..wolf begins ripping his flesh to shreds...he screams in pain
other super fit 20 year old sees this and decides to attack wolf and gouge out its eyes etc seeing that is busy attacking friend.
When he is about 1 foot away wolf senses his approach and start ripping his flesh to shreds while 1st 20 year old sit on ground and cries.

Wolf >>>>>> 2 fit 20 year olds unless they can escape wolf by going in house up tree etc

Nairobi - A 73-year-old man used his bare hands to tear out the tongue of a leopard that attacked him in Kenya and killed it, a newspaper said on Wednesday of an incident confirmed by the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).

You guys who say you can beat the wolf have no clue about the strength and ferocity of a wild animal.

Brocktoon, you'd be dead in 90 seconds.

I think Dids forget what happens when you make him mad. So I think the wolf is in big problems.

Well done Hamish.

a wolf would be similar to fighting a pit bull. a pit bull would have about as fierce a bite as a wolf would, but its half the size, so you'd be able to physically dominate a pit bull more easily than a wolf.

you guys are way overestimating how fast a bite would kill you. dogs can bite people for a long ass time before you die. a wolf is no different from a big dog its not like an alligator or something. and, i wrestle with my girlfriend's 85 pound lab and I can easily mid-wrestle pick him up. I could easily pick up a 120lb wolf and slam him down.

I'm thinking the wolf would leap at one of you as soon as you moved to get out of your chairs, and you'd have time to get an arm up in front of your face of whichever one of you it seized onto.

Then you could get it to the ground and by that time whoever wasnt leapt for could get on it and break one of its legs asap. Then each do a body slam on its midsection, or back as its getting up, and go for broken ribs and bones and hopefully its back.

Maybe wouldnt go this smoothly and would most definitely would suffer some serious damage to yourself as its head is thrashing around biting, but don't underestimate your own survival instincts kicking in here either.

well, we have to know just how hypothetical you want to get. obviously, a wolf is never going to attack two people who are just lounging. in fact, wolves rarely ever (maybe never) attack humans. also, they tend to hunt in packs, so a lone wolf attacking two humans is our first hypothetical. the second involves the humans reaction. in reality, if a wolf just appeared out of no where looking fierce as ****, almost every person would run away. that is the only reaction that would happen. then the wolf would eat you one at a time. are we supposed to disregard this reaction? will the people react perfectly to the situation. if so, it is entirely possible that two humans could take down the wolf. they would have to be well trained in wolf fighting, a very intricate and closely guarded martial art.

CRY JIU JITSU

MY GOD THIS ATTACK

Clearly, if both friends are jiu-jitsu masters then they easily survive. Friend #1 butt flops and kicks away at wolf, keeping him at a distance, never allowing the wolf to get too close because he has mad jits skills. If he can keep the wolf at bay for 5-10 seconds, then friend two jumps on the wolf's back and applies a Rear naked choke and eye gouges the **** out the wolf. Friend one gets up once the back control is established to help control the wolf's body. At this point, odds of survival are extremely high.

This answer was semi serious. Seeing the article about big cat attack, I'm inclined to believe it could work. Some serious grappling/wrestling/BJJ would really help, because of the weight advantage of two humans to one wolf being so overwhelming.

First guy gets bit and crumples in pain, bleeding all over the dang place. Second guy now has to fend off wolf one on one, swings lame chair, wolf brushes it off, bites leg, severs artery, game over.

I think tommorow's hypothetical should be: HOW MANY OOTERS CAN M'MBURUGU TAKE ON?

Add/subtract machete for varience.

If you are drinking beer from glass bottles you have a decent chance I think.

I think you have a chance anyway though. Unless a wolf bite can break bones (then I think you are f-ed).
