Italy today again reported a new record number of new daily infections. The lockdown is a failure. We cannot go down this path.

What other way is there? Just let everybody carry on? It *seems* to have worked for China. I wouldn't be too surprised to find out that there is a different strain that made it to Italy and it is reeking far more havoc, or something.

I'm starting to think that 3rd world countries where health care is not the best and people have more developed immune systems are gonna do better than other countries. It might explain why the death tolls and cases are so low across the board for them.

I just oiled the Glock and checked ammunition stocks. 100 shells, which seems like more than enough. I literally cannot imagine riots or anything similar in our neighborhood.

Forgot which video it was, but it made the point that people should not be bringing their reuseable coronabags to the dang stores right now. Saw way too many people with piles of crusty old bags under their arms today.

In better news, Trader Joe's had a line of people outside today in a socially-distanced line and was letting people in a few at a time. The line moved fairly quickly and when I got inside it was very thinly populated. So good on Trader Joe's. Too many reuseable bags though. Food stores should think about putting a moratorium on them.

I live in CT but my wife’s family is in Mass. 2 of her nephews in Mass are in the National guard and we’re called in today. They were told a lockdown is coming sometime in the next few days

Reading the tea leaves and chatter, I predict this will happen Sunday.

That was why I went out one last time today. A week or so ago I was thinking I was maybe overdoing it, and in the last day or two I've begun to think I wasn't prepping enough.
