People suggesting that if he would have "just got a hooker" this could have all been avoided -- you're a bit off-base. Let's first examine the sociological aspects of the case.

At the worst, I'd say this kid is not grotesque-looking. Realistically, I'd say he's attractive (nohomo). On top of that, he comes from a wealthy, privileged upbringing. He drives a BMW. He's clearly articulate and astute enough to understand his place in the world. Yet, despite all this, he proudly (and this is really noteworthy IMO) professes he hasn't even kissed a girl at age 22. We can take these sociological givens, and deduce that this wasn't just a case of him being just really, really unattractive or awkward.

Psychological problems are why he isn't having sex, and these are the same problems that would prevent him from getting a hooker. There was a pathological reason he wasn't having relationships with women. If you read the manifesto, he's completely delusional. I had him pegged as schizophrenic right off the bat, and someone above in this thread said he was supposed to be on Risperidone, which is an atypical antipsychotic.

My conclusion is that whatever schizo disorder he had, it forged his delusion about women, and from that point forward, he was never going to get better without drug treatment. This wasn't something that a sexual encounter would have snapped him out of. It would have likely shattered his reality and sent him off in another direction.
