Watched my $ going down and down for months at a time, rebuilding each time through reg speed. Go back to zoom wwhen Ive rebuilt, repeat. Not this time. It seems that Im good enough to beat the fish - so I make a point of sitting with them - and there are plenty to choose from at reg speed.

Co is 15/10/2% (3bet) over 140 hands. Fish is 100/28/15.4 over 36 - I called hoping to get him to come along, when the CO 4bets :/ surely AA/KK only? I dunno, probs wider cause of fish. Seems like a sensible fold anyway. if CO didnt get involved, I would call here *so* that fish could raise and get more $ in.

Co is 15/10/2% (3bet) over 140 hands. Fish is 100/28/15.4

Interesting session. Lost a lot of pennies while not winning any
I knew i wasn't tilting, just bad luck.

Hand 1: I was so sure that my hand was the best and i was thinking about the advice "bet big, shove x". Didn't notice that the last card was club, anything wrong here? I was putting villain on Kx and being pot committed. Villain 32/15/2af flop cbet 67%

4nl ression reviewed also. Im down -20€ today but after reviewing sessions i didn't find huge leaks. Few spots which were -EV after calculating pot odds. And some bad calls here and there. But in a nutshell not many big pots won today.

I wasn't sure about this hand. I was thinking of hands villain could possibly have, did he hit the hand or did he just shove A flush draw. He thought for a while and then shoved. Definitely folding in a spot like this next time, not many worse hands would do this.

Vs a half stack they can easily be shoving worse. 1 pair + Ah, QT with or without a heart, he could even play AA/AK like a spaz, QQ.

      Never folding.

      Why donk the turn?
I'd prefer a flop raise to that.
If you are afraid of the flush you can bet small/fold to raise.

      Hand 2:
Not sure JKo is a good hand to play passively from the BB. Also, SB has iso'd the limper so probably has a decent hand.
Hate your call of his minbet - you should raise it up if you think you have him beat.
Ordinarily I wouldn't call that turn, but fishies love to bluff and his line makes no sense.

Hand 3: I hate going broke over these sorts of hands. I'd call down, but what hands would he limp, then 3 bet your flop raise with? Not overpairs or overcards. Can only see him with 78 a set or straight draw maybe - 45 or 89 something like that.

Hand 4: It's a big raise, I'd fold. Your hand isn't that strong I'd probably call flop.
      02-27-2013 , 02:42 PM
@stude hard to get value when hit. I was really hoping for villain to be Kx committed and he would call that donk bet. Usually in this spot checking can lose value and complete draws.
      02-27-2013 , 02:50 PM
But if you raise the flop and he calls then you have the betting lead so can lead the turn.
Also, if the flop is draw heavy, you get money in ahead and price out the draws.
Checking might lose value but donking can tell your opponent exactly what hand you have. It certainly gives them information about your hand strength.
If you check you allow him to double barrel, bet his one pair or two pair type hands and draws.
If he's aggressive enough to bet his draws you don't need to build the pot, let him do it.
Sure, there is a risk of him checking behind, but you are OOP, so it's not ideal anyway.
There is also a risk of him simply folding so you also lose value.

I think raising flop, leading turn or better than calling flop, check/raising turn is a better move.

PS. Does it matter if the draws get there if you don't notice anyway?
      02-27-2013 , 03:18 PM
hmmm yeah if he would have AK or KQ he would double barrel 100% sure.

So obvious where I start playing NL10.. What I realised at NL10 is that you have to tighten up 2x from NL5 which just doesn't flow with me but I'll get it done soon hopefully.

True, prob shouldnt hav even tried to bluff the fishie anyway too..

Q2 defend is standard assuming ur not planning to play fit or fold, hes min raising, has a high steal and has a low fold to 3bet so i dont c any other options
