Pretty sure that's no coincidence. They probably sponsor the dealers too.

im not an expert but iv been in california before so take with a pinch of salt

Fontana is a city of almost 200,000 residents in San Bernardino County, California. Founded in 1913, it remained essentially rural until World War II, when entrepreneur Henry J. Kaiser built a large steel mill in the area. It is now a regional hub of the trucking industry, with Interstate 10 and State Route 210 transecting the city from east to west, and Interstate 15 passing diagonally through its northwestern quadrant.

The racial makeup of Fontana was 92,978 (47.4%) White, 19,574 (10.0%) African American, 1,957 (1.0%) Native American, 12,948 (6.6%) Asian, 547 (0.3%) Pacific Islander, 58,449 (29.8%) from other races, and 9,616 (4.9%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 130,957 persons (66.8%).

Fontana's current economy is driven largely by industrial uses, particularly trucking-based industries. The city is home to several truck dealerships, and other industrial equipment sales centers, and, like its neighbors Ontario and Rancho Cucamonga, many product distribution centers for such companies as Toyota, Target, Sears, Mercedes-Benz, Southern California Edison, Home Shopping Network, and Avery Dennison. The city is also home to numerous small manufacturers of building materials and other locally-used products, and many small auto dealerships and salvage yards. Fontana's economy has also heavily encouraged, at least until such activities had been somewhat hampered by the Subprime mortgage crisis, the planning, developing and construction of new housing tracts. The city also has numerous local shopping centers, such as the Summit Heights Gateway/Falcon Ridge Town Center at the north end of the city, and Palm Court in the southern section. The city also features commercial strip zoning along several of its major avenues and boulevards, such as the "Miracle Mile" Straddling the 210 Freeway between Citrus and Sierra Avenues. The official Fontana Auto Center is part of that zone, with two major dealerships already in place.

Fontana is ghetto-fabulous! It's a ****ty place, but OK to work there. Obv a gun toting redneck would be inconspicuous there

There was an active cell of the KKK there just 10 or so years ago, the Grand Wizard lived in Fontana at the time. I remember a parade down Sierra Ave (main street) that was marred by racial violence, sometime in the 90's.

I would work there, but live elsewhere, like Redlands or Highlands or Rancho Cucamonga. Actually, I have worked there before on several jobs at various offices. I live about 25 min from there, so we could get a beer, see a Nascar race and shoot our guns up the hills above Fontana!

Bring soft point & hollow point ammo, and spare mags, they can be hard to get here.

Kaiser Steel Mills used to be a "company town" way back in the day, and then became what is now Fontana. Still a few parts of the old steel mill around, but the race track sits on the majority of that old complex.

Traffic is not bad in that area, if you live to the west or south then you are opposite of the normal rush hour flow anyway.

I'll take pics and send to you if you do get serious, and we have our own CraigsList for Inland Empire as well
http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/

so check that out (the personals are awesome. I've been told)

And the weather is the some of the best, next to San Diego probably the best in Cali. San Diego is just over an hour away, Mexico 1.5 hours, Big Bear and alpine skiing just 1 hour unless chains required. Palm Springs just 1 hour. Awesome beaches 1 hour.

"Come out to the coast, we'll get together, have a few laughs..."

Very nice "rural" living in Yucaipa, about 20-30 mins from Fontana (east on I-10 fwy), have friends there that are country types and they swear they would not move anywhere else in SoCal. I know they all have well kept ranches and farm properties there, but its still civilized with sewer, gas lines and high speed net good fire and police services and great schools, and close to everything. You could keep your pigs, chickens or horses whatever. Not expensive at all, most of us here don't like that country feel lol
