we should spam the support to add the 50 coins in the 100K ''added'' tournament.

The February 27 $100K Added VIP Tournament will indeed be "$100K Added" - we'll be adjusting the prizepool at the end of registration to reflect the amount of StarsCoin in the prizepool.

For example If there are 2M StarsCoin ($20,000) in entries, the prizepool will be at least $120K. There's a technical issue when combining a real money prizepool and a StarsCoin buy-in which is why the prizepool isn't updating as players register to reflect this.

Apologies for any confusion.

Regards,
Dylan

When are the 1 million supernova free rolls can't find them in the lobby? I guess there open to everyone now but stars makes it sound like they added 4 new ones

I just played 8 25c Spin and go (a format I don't like), just to realize that the buy in had to be min. $1 to achieve the silver challenge.

Have been playing a lot of ~$1 tourneys in the last year, and this one is going to be very special, with such a large prize pool! Thanks to the added prize from PS - would have been happy with it the way it was, but guess more will be even better haha!

Thank you PS, Dylan - that's lovely news

Almost did that yesterday - sometimes when something's in brackets, guess my eyes feel like reading it is optional, so it winds up getting skipped or something?

Can only ever seem to play a handful of Spins before the dark blue background starts to put me on tilt May take it easy and play my usual tourneys, and wait and see what the challenge is for tomorrow ...

Looks like my guess for today's challenge was pretty close then. Tomorrow's milestone description:

PokerStars launches the European Poker Tour. Swedish player Alex Stevic wins the first Main Event after what is still one of the longest heads-up duels in EPT history, against Ireland’s Dave O’Callaghan. You can ‘Start’ this Milestone Challenge on February 18.

So me thinks another tourney promo, my guess given the heads up theme that it will be HU SNGs, and maybe some more spins.

Meh, standard. (A series of 8 losses happens to a reg every 100 games or so.)

You can't call yourself a dedicated spin grinder until you've lost 20 in a row while having a positive EV ROI Some of the highest volume regs might have already had series of 25 losses despite being longterm winners.

Do you grind these spins often coon74? Yea that's why I don't like the idea of grinding them - variance is just too brutal. But if you're only playing them every so often just for lolz (or for a promo in this case) then they are a bit of fun!

I wouldn't say that I grind them, but I do play analogous tourneys of other sites almost exclusively (about 500 games a month)

There's actually a bit too little variance there to my taste because alas I have to stay below $15, otherwise my hourly winrate would be lower as the games are rather reg-infested now already.

I did realise at the very beginnings (in early 2014 when Twister appeared on iPoker) that the games would be soft, but I spent the first half of that year grinding 6-max jackpot SnGs on iPoker, whose variance was insane in the sense that there was only one big jackpot per buy-in level that was very hard to hit (I was one game away from it but didn't manage to get the last, 6th in row, win), plus only one tier of consolation prizes that contributed only 1% to the 'regular' ROI.

I still think those 6-max Rio jackpots (which are in the process of liquidation now, i.e. the jackpot won't be reseeded once it's taken) had a bigger hourly EV than €10 Twister at that time (in absence of higher stakes at any site until FTP rolled out $50 jackpot SnGs), but so much of that EV would come from the main jackpot. Payouts of Twister / Spins are structured much better, the top tier accounts for only a small % of the overall ROI.

Congrats! I saw you in the $1.50 HU hyper lobby but didn't manage to sit you (they fill up too fast).

My result is meh:

Cheers! Yeah I was just choosing register to any to get the challenge done haha! It would have been fun to play you!

Ahhh still, I'd take $5 over a ticket! Good luck for the rest of the promotion mate!

Got $5 today also, plus a ticket.

Wonder what tomorrows will be. So far the 1k hands at Zoom has been the most fun imo.

I've got shootout tickets 5 out of 6 times, and my other prize was $2 lol.

My mate binked $100 in the silver challenge today (0.2% chance) plus another $10 in the gold. And he's a bronzestar! Guess it must be setup so that the lowest status players get all the better prizes

Todays silver challenge is very fun (knockout two players in knockout tournaments) but the gold challenge is a bit meh imo (win 3 cash game hold em hands with a full house - hu and zoom excluded).

It's hard to get a full house - I've been grinding 4 tables for 70mins and not seen one yet. Wish they had included Zoom hands in this challenge, would have been a lot better

I completed it by 6-tabling fixed limit for 75 minutes. Not exactly fun though.

Looking at number of people registered for the all-in shootouts so far, it seems that less people are taking part in today's promo, so the value of the shootout ticket should go up quite a bit (if that's any consolation)

Does it work in 5/10c Limit (blinds 2-5c) ? Or must we go in 10/20c Limit ?
