The new program is designed to favour recreationals. How many of them refuse to use Windows / Mac / Android / iOS to play at Stars when the client isn't working well on Linux? Why do you think Stars would ever care about making the client work well with Wine?

To make it disappear, you should just click the "x" on the top right hand corner of the client.

Opened my first chest.

Actual realized rakeback amounted to 31.5% plus 5.7% of points towards next chest.

But expected rakeback based on my point requirements and chest EV with no boosts is only 8.1%

It is at Table Appearance > Table Display > Stars Rewards (at the right bottom)

Seems to work fine on 32-bit Kubuntu 16.04 with Wine 2.4.

I remember seeing you also had problems with the Deal window so I guess the Pokerstars browser is the problem, but I have no idea how to fix that.

I used to have constant client crashes earlier ( at least once an hour), but muting all the PS sound from the PS settings took care of that and haven't had a crash since I did that, so that might be worth trying, though playing without a sound is not great.

Also, do you have the corefonts installed from Winetricks? IIRC that was the only change that I've made to the Wine default install.

So.. are we getting the starscoins for the incompleted step bar we had? Or are they going to be filthy little thieves? I see i'm 50 points to my first chest but i heard someone say even people who haven't played real-money have this as well.

ive a red one and ive to rake 2,40$ to get 11¢ lol.

I start with 50 points free. no idea why; i havent played on pokerstars this month. I assume its just for the first one.
Also ive a boost for the majority of the clearing, not sure how often those happen. probably not often enough to matter that much. That specific chest is worth about 9% rb

because of these factors its hard to say how much ill actually get back on average per red chest. imo they are probably on average 6% or so to me. lol

We're yet lucky to have 6% rakeback EV, omnishakira - it looks like the RB rate for regs is less than 1.5% like in PokerRon247's case

Once you complete your current boost, your next one will be available in 8 hours. Or, at least, my personal waiting time for the next boost is 8 hours, others' might be less or more. You'll find out yours when you clear your current boost.
