What are your thoughts on https://www.bulliondirect.com/nucleo/home.do

"Nucleo™ is a real-time, real order exchange invented, developed, and administered by Bullion Direct, Inc. Nucleo's order-matching system allows members, large or small, to place real orders for real products in a real-time environment (24/7) - anonymously (except to Bullion Direct, of course)!

Bullion Direct facilitates the entire transaction process including the trading, authentication, storage, insurance, order fulfillment, and distribution of all products traded on Nucleo."

Is this a good platform to sell Silver and Gold bullion that I have collected? Could trading Gold/Silver on this platform be profitable?

Thanks for all comments, POLO

No, this is not a good platform to buy/sell PM's, it could be profitable, but wouldn't yield better results than the more attractive alternatives.

If buying online, use some of the sites that have been recommended in this thread. If buying in person maybe try buying smaller amounts first if you are afraid of getting cheated/robbed by your seller.

In terms of getting a good deal just do your research and try to buy at a competitive price.

An interesting sidenote/story: Few weeks back I bought about 250 oz of silver from a guy posting on craigslist. Did the transaction in the lobby of a gated, luxury appartment complex. Plenty of people around but still had that drug deal vibe. Everything went smoothly. Then as we said our goodbyes he leans in and says "the first time meeting a customer I always stay packed" and pats the front of his pants. "You know, just in case."

I'm pretty sure he was full of it but wasn't about to call his bluff.
I've bought from him since and referred others as well without incident. Nice guy, and come to find out later he's a practicing doctor.

Anyone in the socal area looking for bullion shoot me a pm and I can give you his contact info. His prices are better than anything I've seen online.

http://www.apmex.com/

click on gold or silver on the link above, write down the premium over spot for the items you wish to purchase locally/in person and have the dealer quote you a price for your desired items.

For example:
If the price above spot for a Credit Suisse 1oz gold 9999 bar is 24.95 at apmex, the spot price on Kitco's Live Market Price page http://www.kitco.com/market/ is $1181.

24.95 ÷ 1181.00 = 2% premium

Government coins will have a higher premium (example: American Eagle, Maple Leaf, Philharmonic etc.), but some great bullion products can be purchased with little premium even at the retail point of sale where you may get your items.

Low ball those bastards, coin guys can be haggled with, if you choose to save some bucks. Follow the first two paragraphs, take your list with the premiums on it and factor in that the metals dealer or coin guy is paying for shipping/handling and insurance so you don't have to, so the premium may be just a touch higher than the on-line dynamos.

people, including myself, were expecting him to be more specific on how he was going to "aid" the economy further. His blanket i'll save the market if something bad happens leaves open the possibility the fed could end up behind the curve again and we'll see a similar situation to what happened during the last commodity crash after the run up in 08. Well not quite as bad actually, because the fed is more equipped and ready to handle increasing demands for funds than they were then. But overall if the fed stagnates on asset purchases and starts winding down you can expect the market to nosedive again.

start out with GBE, trade angle, also ino TV is good and is for the more educated approach (GBE and ino tv are like dc/cr for futures trading).
Trade angle is the most sophhisticated indicator system for daytraders out the market + coaching site, yet still a pretty big secret to most of them here in the forums i think.

PS: i have signed with GBE and may papertrading is up $15k over the last 2 month using a pretty simple techique combined with a very good indicator system.
( account started with 25k, each position does not exceed $1.600, i swing - shortterm trade with the strategy)

are there any specialized forums for commo trading?

Anyone here listen to the King World News Broadcast?
http://kingworldnews.com/kingworldne...orld_News.html

The show and virtually all guests seems to be incredibly bullish on gold and silver. I myself am bullish on gold and silver and tend to agree with their reasoning. I would, however, prefer to here some contrary opinions discussed on the show to challenge these beliefs and provide better discourse.

What are posters in this threads thoughts on this broadcast?

Eric King's guests are not likely to be bearish on gold at these levels b/c he chooses the guests. Granted, he lets his guest speak at length and rarely intends to do anything but passively ask his questions and listen.

I like the show and listen now and again.
