On another note, what is in the (relatively) big update that I just downloaded? I can't see anything different.

I have to say I have changed my mind from the enthusiasm expressed earlier in the month regarding The Beast. While I was excited for it at first, and I do still believe it is an improvement over the straight BBJ rake, it has really brought out the grinders, and the games don't seem to be nearly as fishy lately.

This is actually one of the most popular methods, the card is opened with $25 (one time fee). You can then use it to make purchases at retail outlets, or withdraw cash at your leisure once its sent to you.
There’s also a Monthly Fee of $4.95. To apply for it, you can contact our Customer service team at support@americascardroom.eu and they will provide you with the steps.
Once you have it, it’s super convenient. Under normal circumstances, withdrawals are processed the day after they are requested, however all withdrawals are reviewed and may take up to 15 business days to process.

I called yesterday and was told the $25 gets put on card and you can use it. The post above from ACR rep says its a 1 time fee. Can someone give me the correct answer.

It is put on the card. There is a fee to open the card which I believe is $5 which is taken off by the card company after the $25 is loaded.

What is the fee to withdraw cash from the card, and what is the max you can withdraw in a single transaction? Any idea?

That's gonna depend on where you are and what banks you are going to. There is a fee from the card that is a couple dollars each time you withdraw, the monthly $5 fee, and the fee from the bank atm. The bank fee will depend which atm you go to and the limit will change as well. The banks around me are $800/day max withdrawl so for a $2500 cashout I have to go to 3 banks and pay 3 withdrawal fees each time.

This isn't helped by the fact that HU tables only run up to 1/2, forces HU action to 6m tables where randoms come in and disrupt the match

Hey just a suggestion from a new member.. On Full Tilt Poker they would offer "happy hours" in which they would give away 2x or 3x points for playing. During these hours the site volume was noticeably higher.

Is this something you guys would consider incorporating into your site?

How does one go about downloading and setting up poker tracker with ACR. I can't seem to figure it out and get passed having to download this service pack in order to download postgreSQL.

agreed the tables are so nitty now if you have a few of the top 10 Beast players on your table, near on impossible to get any good action

I'd have to say this can be the case most of the time. I, for one, am attempting to change my game so as to not totally negate the Beast bonus I'm going to earn. My usual fun-time 24/11 ain't gonna cut it.

I won two sat satellite seats into the 50k but was only credited with the first win. I went and try to unregister but that didn't work and my account was never credited with the value of the tourney buyin.

The softer tables were the main reason I played here, but it seems to be about the same as Revolution network now. I just opened up a random 100NL table and the players were 19/19, 22/20, 20/8, 18/15, and 24/21...not a single fish! I totally take back all the good things I said about The Beast, for people like you and I, we are losing any reason to play here. Guess I'll give it a few more weeks to see if it improves, but if not I'm probably gonna move my roll to Intertops...

Friday night from 8 PM to 1 AM would be a great start. Nikobellic is right, the tables would always be packed during HH.

.
I six table 200nl and 400nl and usually have a fish at every table. You just gotta table select and go find them.

And good luck playing on the Revolution Network

I'm not saying there fish aren't out there, and I certainly agree with table selection, but we're talking an average of about 3 fish per table (10-50NL) to now 0-1 fish per table at the same stakes some days. Btw, only Lock is having issues, Intertops is fine.

The Beast is really drastically cutting down on the profitability of the games. This place used to be as soft as Bodog...

Spoiler:
Ok, so there is no US-friendly site as soft a Bodog.

You cannot unregister with the first win.
