First I tried betonline. Won a $10,000 tourney and never played again, even though I won. Playing people going all in on q2 and 78 off was the most irritating experience of my life, plus there's no regular large tournament schedule.

Next I tried Americas Cardroom. Great tournament sizes, lots of players, fast cashout. The software gives me a headache. I finished a grinding session there and felt like I had been at work for 12 hours. Left and never went back.

Bovada was my haven. Then they stopped allowing NY players.

Tried full flush until I realized it was just a rehash of betonline, with no large prizepool guaranteed tournaments.

I'm primarily a tournament player. I got first place in the 100k freeroll tourney on lock 6 weeks in a row once. I can't find a site with a good large gtd tournament schedule that allows US, or at least NY players.

Can anyone on 2+2 recommend something? I was so happy to play on Bovada until they disallowed NY players. Now I'm stuck.
POTY and alias of the year to!

how many ppl were in each freeroll bro? sounds like quite a feat, freeroll or not. Hell, freeroll especially, those things are super turbos, go pro immediately

US player looking for a site for casual play (~10-15hrs/week) on cash microstakes and for decent rakeback. Ease of deposit and cashing out a plus and must work with HEM. Is there a best site for me? Thanks!

i am a newbie (just since december) in california. i got accounts at bovada, bcp, and acr. tried carbon but they did not like the credit card that the others took.

bcp and acr are both part of wpn and you can't run both clients on the same machine.

bovada seems to have more players than bcp or acr, but maybe more trouble to get money out (not a consideration for me as this is just a cheap experiment).

bcp and acr have gui's that seem nicer to me - they have a button for raising 2x,3x,4x,5x while bovada makes you type in the bet or use a slider.

but only bovada has zone (which i got sucked into) and players at bovada are anonymous, so tracking tools are not any use there.

thanks

Which site has the most consistent Omaha 8 cash games, MTTs, etc? Fixed/Pot/NL doesn't matter, but I usually prefer Fixed O8 cash and PLO8 MTTs. I saw that Bovada has a big tournament series starting this month of low buy-in MTTs which included a number of O8. Also, reliability/ease of cashing out is important and playing in Ohio (so I think all sites are available for me?).

Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Grand Poker Network has the most deposit and withdrawal options.
Winning Poker Network (ACR, BCP, True, YAP) is the largest.
Revolution Network (Tops, JS) has the highest RB.

Bovada, Carbon, WPN... not much 08 action on US sites outside of those 3.

Kahn

Thanks again. Looks like I'll likely go with ACR once my new laptop comes in.

Is Bovada ever going to open up again to accepting NY players?

Well that stinks. Thanks for info anyway. How come no mention of BoL on first page of thread? What is your overall opinion of this site? Any player from any US state can play on here?

Nevermind. I didn't realize it fell under the Chico Network.

Hi,

I live in Oregon and I am trying to improve my game. I would like to start playing internet poker for money as I know this would allow me to see a bunch more hands and improve my game for cheap. Also with any luck I might eventually win one of those satellites for an in person tournament.

I have read that some sites worth a look are Bovada, America's Card Room, Carbon Poker, and Betonline poker.

Before I register for one of the sites, I would like to ask the two plus two community the following questions:

Has anyone here withdraw money from these sites?
Have you had their checks bounce?
How hard was it to deposit your check in your bank?
Do any of these sites allow us players to use ewallets such as skrill or paypal?

As you can see above, before, I open up an account, I want to make sure I can get my money with out paying too many fees. The last thing I want to deal with an bounce check at my bank or credit union.

Your comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

America's Card Room has a debit card option for withdrawals. There are some minor fees, but it will eliminate that potential bounce or held check that you don't want to deal with. My .02

Hello,

I am wanting to start playing poker again but the poker sites I played at before (full tilt poker and pokerstars) have my area (Tennessee, US) restricted. A few days ago I was going to deposit at BetOnline but my bank wouldn't approve the transaction. My bank said it was from the UK and they would not accept it because a large number of fraud from the UK. I couldn't figure out any other deposit method here (and after reading some posts of cash-out failures I'm glad of it).

Currently I am playing on Full Flush Poker and Carbon Poker as they both will accept deposits from my bank and my bank will accepts payments to them, but I don't like these sites as much as I did full tilt and pokerstars. I don't like them because there is not enough action, not enough tournaments, stakes aren't high enough, and I neglected taking advantage of a sign-up bonus.
Therefore my question to 2p2 is what poker site should I try out that has the action like full tilt/pokerstars 2011, plenty of tournaments, high stakes, good rakeback/sign-up bonuses, and accepts US players deposits.

did you check the equity link they have some bad reviews lately may want to check the link in internet section before you do. I would go with carbon though carbon has no rakeback. Betonline has been sketchy best of the 3 options imo. Betonline gives pop points you can use to enter tournaments . Also, check the where can usa players play link on here.

I don't really like Carbon or Full Flush poker or BetOnline because they don't have enough players.

Which is more busy Bovada or ACR?

The largest US site, Bovada, has approximately 8% of the cash game traffic as PokerStars.

You will not be able to replicate your PokerStars glory days play in the US market.

The highest stakes games are available on the Winning Poker Network which has tables up to 5k buyin. If you sat at said cash games, they would instantly start considering you'd have an unknown and new name.

5Dimes, SportBet, Island Casino (same company, different skins).

They pay out to them as well.

Nowadays it looks like every non regulated poker site that US players can play on has a casino. Is there a non regulated US site that allows you to restrict yourself from playing any casino games? Would love to start playing again.
