as a huge Unibet fan I just had my first bad customer experience when dealing with the german support regarding the server downtime on Saturday, 28th of November. After the Saturday Stack bricked for me I still had the Daily 1.5K GTD and the Daily 1K GTD Deepstack running trying to chase black numbers. When server crashed on ~21.30 I had a bit less than starting stack in the Daily 1.5K and was ITM in the 1K GTD Daily Deepstack with 9 players remaining, this was shortly before the Disconnect on the bubble:

I tried logging back in for like 1.5h until i gave up. When i logged in the next day I realized I only received a 59,40€ mincash (which I had secured already when servers crashed).
I then ran the rough numbers through ICM calculator online, which showed the EV of my stack is around 102€ due to ICM. Thus, a deficit of ~42€ to my harm was the result:

When I worte to german support about this they acknowledged my loss in the Daily 1.5KGTD but claimed that my request for the Daily 1K Deepstack wasn't legitimate because third party software was illegal on Unibet and thats why my request wouldn't be considered (I explained the problem of disconnecting and just giving Chipleader 1st Place money etc. with ICM as well there)
When I wrote back that she must've missunderstood me and that I wasn't using the calculator while playing (which wouldn't be of any use anyway) I was simply ignored apparently and never received an answer.

What gives a bad taste to this for me is not just not being acknowledged, but being accused of being some kind of cheater. I've never used or liked HUDs and stuff very much and this is why I love Unibet so much and thats why this way of dealing with a customer has really kinda annoyed me.

Sry, for the wall of text but had to speak out that one. Quite disappointed that the support didn't even allow me to ressolve the apparant missunderstanding. The money lost is sad of course as well (esp. on a losing day), but If I am not being responded to at all, how can you even find a compromise, like at least one free ticket for the tournament or so as a compromise?!

What has an online ICM calculator supposed to do with illegal third party software anyways? I highly doubt that the support staff that responded even knew what it was and just blindly guessed, which obviously makes little sense. Because otherwise they'd knew it was no kind of software to aid the player while playing.

Is the gift promotion buggy? Should have had more than 350 flops but still no money.

I've been playing on unibet a couple of weeks now, and love the concept of focusing on the recreational player, which I am. Finally there are rewards that are very attainable for me.

I also really enjoyed the Unibet Open broadcast last weekend.

However, there is one downside for me in cash games: I don't like it when I'm sat down at a short-handed table. For example 4 people of which one is sitting out so I'm forced to get into 3-way action. I would love an option to indicate that I only want to be sat at a table with at least 4 active players.

This brings me to the question: is there a limit on how long a player can sit out? I find it quite annoying when two players sit out, blocking other players from joining the table and forcing the rest to play short-handed.

Since I like to play with a lot of players, I would really like full ring cash tables. I know it's been said that there is probably not enough traffic (yet) to add them, but I just like to voice my preference for the day when you would be thinking about adding a new game type

Players that sit out have 500 seconds before they get booted. Obviously it sucks when a couple are gone at the same time... If you don't like SH play then you want to make sure there's at least 30 players playing at the given stake to ensure that you're sitting at a fuller table. Playing just prior and during peak hours is a great way to make sure your table will stay filled even when a player leaves.

Is there anyway the font in the tournament lobby could get a bit smaller? I think the new lobby is really chaotic, I want to see more MTT's at ones.

+ Could you add in the future more sound options for the poker client ?. I found the alarm sound very annoying every time that its my turn but I currently have only 2 options (mute every sound of the client or not).

+ What do you think of having zoom-like poker for your cash games? I mean you already have a pool and no table-selection. I don't know if it would be more popular than the current format, just asking.

Unibet already had this for a couple of months prior to Banzai, the traffic died down as soon as no promotion for it ran.

We're talking about having some form of table-merging in the future, that would reduce some of this kind of problem. I don't think we can easily get around it otherwise because it'll really slow down new tables forming if that option existed.

I know what you mean, but I don't think there's huge demand for 9-max cash games. There's a further problem that weak players lose faster there as they don't tighten up correctly.

I think I'd prefer to add PLO8 next, but it'd require a lot of work as it touches some of the fundamental parts of our game engine.

I'd quite like to close tables when everyone at it is sitting out. You might be seated at a table without anyone actually playing, and if you leave/rejoin then you get put back at the same table. That's not good.

We plan to do this at some stage in the future but I don't think it'll make it in in the near future.

The problem was that until there were 20+ people in the pool, the games were actually slower than regular ring games. We weren't big enough to sustain 20+ 24/7, so as soon as they stopped they didn't start up again.

On one hand, they should be relatively easy to bring back because we already have most of the code there. But on the other, they'd need to be worked quite a lot to make sure they ran better when there weren't many entrants.

I think there's also a problem that weak players lose faster there. Zoom is one of the toughest games on PS, if not the toughest. It's fun on the surface, but it is pretty ruthless at magnifying your mistakes, particularly if they're preflop.

I think the main question is whether or not you would be able to attract enough "natural" traffic for speed Hold'em to make sure it runs properly without having to feed promotions for it all the time. Not entirely sure if a race would be one possible solution, if I remember correctly that effect didn't last long? Maybe some monthly missions or cash rewards for speed only?

Next day, same crap again with the iPad crashes BoB, raised and BB three-bets. When I was about to click on the call button, the app crashes and I try to log back in asap. First attempt gives me an odd http error 502 notification after putting in the credentials and I get back in after attempt number two to find I somehow did call and then got freerolled aka timed out post flop.

Both the app and the iPad are on latest version and this typically happens 10-15 minutes into a session. Was just the NL4 ticket that I tried to donk off after, got sucked out by table fish and sucked back to have something left over. Just no motivation anymore to play through the iPad today ...
