Same thing happened when I wanted to go to the venue to get some dinner, the shuttle bus just didn't arrive to make it in time and the costs of a cab would outweigh the "free" dinner and therefore it wasn't worth the effort. The same thing happened at the players party, I waited for an hour but again no shuttle bus. So after all, the logistics were pretty bad and spoiled what could have been a great event (because you unibet guys know how to throw party).
Sorry for the problems. Thanks for the feedback though, I'll pass it on to the UO team. We had this problem at UO Glasgow too, but it sounds like this one at least worked better. Hopefully next time it'll be perfect.

Aha, thanks for the update. I think we're still having small connection problems but nothing major since the maintenance.

When I wrote back that she must've missunderstood me and that I wasn't using the calculator while playing (which wouldn't be of any use anyway) I was simply ignored apparently and never received an answer.
What gives a bad taste to this for me is not just not being acknowledged, but being accused of being some kind of cheater. I've never used or liked HUDs and stuff very much and this is why I love Unibet so much and thats why this way of dealing with a customer has really kinda annoyed me.
Yup, that's very not good. Sorry for the problems. I've passed this on to our 3rd line guy, he will take care of it (and of educating the CS agent).

I'll hassle Jamie a bit. It shouldn't take four days for him to credit a ticket.

The last 500 anyway. But otherwise, nope.

Yup, I think so too. Or they know what ICM is and know that real-time ICM is banned on PS or something.

What's your alias? I'll have a look.

It's three different games/stakes.

Could you quote/link my post about this please? I don't recall the backstory and 2 + 2 can't find the bit you pasted.

We're talking about having some form of table-merging in the future, that would reduce some of this kind of problem. I don't think we can easily get around it otherwise because it'll really slow down new tables forming if that option existed.

I know what you mean, but I don't think there's huge demand for 9-max cash games. There's a further problem that weak players lose faster there as they don't tighten up correctly.
I think I'd prefer to add PLO8 next, but it'd require a lot of work as it touches some of the fundamental parts of our game engine.

Playing just prior and during peak hours is a great way to make sure your table will stay filled even when a player leaves.
I'd quite like to close tables when everyone at it is sitting out. You might be seated at a table without anyone actually playing, and if you leave/rejoin then you get put back at the same table. That's not good.

We plan to do this at some stage in the future but I don't think it'll make it in in the near future.

On one hand, they should be relatively easy to bring back because we already have most of the code there. But on the other, they'd need to be worked quite a lot to make sure they ran better when there weren't many entrants.
I think there's also a problem that weak players lose faster there. Zoom is one of the toughest games on PS, if not the toughest. It's fun on the surface, but it is pretty ruthless at magnifying your mistakes, particularly if they're preflop.
