This is the second time it happen to me at a Mission Freeroll, so why should I not get mad? Why is it allways "server issues" when it comes to the 3K mission Freeroll?

Freeroll disconnect does not bother me that hard. I think unibet will face a problem very soon the amount of multitableing regs on 25nl is getting insane lol Almost at every table i am playing against the same people and fish are getting raped hard. Not sure how long the ecology can hold this NL4 and nl10 prolly got the same problem or not ?

also i missed the freeroll today for last months mission because i forgot about it and it was too late to register when i logged in. i wonder if it would be possible to opt into an e-mail reminder or something for future promotion freerolls like this in case we miss them. I would have registered earlier but a week or so ago registration wasn't open. Not complaining totally my fault, but just thinking about future promo's if a reminder would be possible

Same problem, but after a little while it popped up.

Time to remove these freerolls or at least make them more bearable for the client, in my opinion. Maybe instead of one €3k max 3000 players event arrange 3x €1k max 1000 players event in 3 different day (players could choose and participate in one of them).

Btw... this is turbo, and after 2 hours we're still not getting any prizes. It's great that this is turbo, but maybe you could change blind levels to 3 mins instead of 5?

I did notice a rather interesting bug during the tournament.

It was last hand prior the end of hand-for-hand and first hand after it. Big blind was busted during the last hand (I was small blind). New player arrived from other table to place which belonged to busted big blind. Next hand there is no small blind (yes, that is correct) but instead of former UTG being big blind the new player was the new big blind. Table remained the same. By regular rules at this case new player should not be dealt until dealer's button has passed and former UTG posts big blind and other players just antes. Rather small, specific matter but importanent nevertheless.

Hand numbers were (ID:s) 139642261 and 139643569.

I was on those tables tonight and hardly saw a decent player, so I don't think it's a problem yet.

How long have you been playing on unibet ? . I am playing since late april 2014 and i do notice a significant change . I recently dropped down from 50nl because i needed some money for real life and 50nl is alot softer (sounds strange i know )

The apparent inability of the servers to cope with the high (record level?) traffic was disappointing.
Along with the monthly mission freeroll, I also played one of the UO Satties. It's pretty hard to play a correct bubble strategy if the lobby doesn't show how many people are registered or how close you are to the bubble. :/

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. You get a big black screen and a very tiny table in the corner? Or is that a problem with the screenshot? If the former, which platform are you playing on?

If you have problems with the site that cost you money, you should be able to mail support and they can look into giving you a refund.

I forgot to follow up on this one - I believe Kristoffer has mailed you, but we credited you extra money based on your chip equity at that stage of the tournament (I think it was another ~€25).

It came in with the late Feb update. I think this is highlighting that we're not good at telling people about new features, it's something we need to improve.

Yeh, this isn't good. I'm not totally sure what's happening here yet, and of course now there're a few other things for the developers to look into, but I'll add this to my list of things to chase next week.

Right, so: we have two tournament monitors to help carry the load when we get busy. For some reason, one of them failed at the start of the 3k freeroll, and the other one didn't have the capacity to keep up.

We don't know why that is yet and we don't know what we need to do to fix it. So right now we don't know how we'll compensate people or whether the next freeroll will run. I have a meeting with the developers at 11am GMT and we'll discuss it there. I'll keep you all updated.

It's down by €308 at that payout level. But it's up at the top end of the scheme and at a couple of earlier levels. This is the kind of balancing I'll do every month. We're still paying out roughly the same amount (I can't tell for sure until the quarter has happened, I can only model it).

The percentage of NL25 pots that are raked has basically not changed in the past six months. NL4 and NL10 have got tighter though, and we're going to introduce a table cap for NL4 next month (actually we MIGHT do it earlier - we need a server restart to bring it in and maybe we'll need one to fix the tourney monitor problem). We're discussing NL10.

The aim is to set the cap at 8 tables. We don't want to be too low because then people will simply play 2 sites, which won't improve the ecology. We don't want to be too high because it won't make people looser. 8 seems a sensible compromise to me.

I think I've said a few times though that our biggest problem right now is bringing in more new players. That's one of the reasons I really like Twitch, and it's something I'm going to spend quite a lot of time doing from now on.

For the record, Apr pots raked was 26.85% at NL25, it's 32.87% now.

You can set 2 + 2 to show 100 posts per page, it makes it a bit easier to navigate (particularly when I post a ten thousand word post). I'll definitely do something for post 5000 in the thread though.

It wasn't a record for total traffic, but it was for entrants in one tournament. We thought the tournament monitors could handle it, but sadly they couldn't obviously.

We actually have capacity for about ten times as much traffic as we normally get. We put this in in time for milestones, but we crashed then too due to a server bug. These aren't capacity problems or lack of foresight problems, they're problems that are hard to find without actually experiencing the load (insofar as I understand them).

But yeh, I think we all know that nobody wants the site to break. It costs us a lot of money there and then, it hurts our reputation in the long term, and it's not much fun either. It's a ****ty situation but hopefully this kind of thing will only happen once as we can figure out what did it and fix that.

Figured it out, I was looking under channels not the game menu.
All I had to do was change "playing" to poker on the dashboard, I had it as unibet freeroll.

Do you have a printout with the signup bonus info on.
I run a poker game at a local club on the first Monday of each month and my friend runs a weekly one at the local pub.

Try telling people about Unibet but they always say "what was the name of that site?" a week later, so some kind of leaflet would be handy.

Bug:

If you disconnect during a hand and reconnect very fast again you'll get a message that you disconnected. Unfortunately this message removes all buttons for action so you will have to wait until your time runs out and you get the extra disconnect time until they come back again. Not a big problem but was slightly irritating as I thought I was not going to be able to act until they came back.

Edit: This reminds me why I disconnected, and it always happens when I get a windows UAC popup. All tables just go black for a few seconds when it happens.

This is a single table window. No matter the size of the window, the table will be a post stamp sized thingie at the top left of the screen. I have to close the window, find the tournament back, and open it again.

As for the money: how can I ever know what amount of money it was? Did I get AA while I was hurrying to fix the issue or 72o? And would I have gone busto with those AA or tripled up with 72o? Who knows man.

Platform is MacOS 10.10.2 (14C109), but that shouldn't matter for AIR applications, right? ;-)

I like the table cap idea Extending it from 4nl-10nl or possible 25nl might be a good idea to already tackle a from that might occur in the future. You rake less at the microstakes than most other sites to make people move up faster but the general trend i see is that most regs dont move up but just add more tables. So the 8 table cap might fix some issues .

The problem at 4nl might be easteren europeans mass multitabling them for a living because wages are alot lower there than in westeren europe. (i dont mean anything bad by this for the record its something i saw alot at pokerstars aswell when i still played there.

Re: Freeroll problem last night.

1. We're replacing the €3k freeroll on Sunday with 2x €2k freerolls with a 30 minute gap between them. They'll only have 1,500 player caps instead of 3,000.

2. We're crediting 5x UO slot freespins to every player who took part in the problem tournament last night.

We have some improvements to the tourney controller that broke, but we don't want to risk using them in time for Sunday's freeroll. We can't tell for sure whether they'd work.

Good idea re: leaflet. We're hiring a social media intern soon and I want them to look after that kind of thing. If you remind me in a couple of weeks we'll see what we can do.
