The rake is 3% to €3 at PLO25.

Sites need to make money. If we cut our rake across the board, we would lose money.

We just went with the industry standard here. I doubt it'd make much difference to the overall numbers, but it might be quite a lot of work as it affects a fundamental part of the software. I'll ask.
But the broader point is that if you reduce rake, it doesn't attract (m)any players. Most people don't know or care about the rake. We can see this where I reduced PLO25 rake for a month - nobody noticed in this thread and nobody mentioned it to support. I did the test to find out how it affected churn numbers, and it worked.

I quite like this idea. I play a lot of Path of Exile, and used to play a lot of Hearthstone - both are freemium games, though the latter is a lot more pay-to-win. POE makes most of its money from cosmetic changes.
It'd be much too much of a gamble to take though. We couldn't introduce it as a new feature before lowering rake because people would be upset, but if we introduced it when we lower rake and it doesn't work, we go bust.

Sure, but it'll have to be on Monday as I can't access the back office from home. I can get number of SNG, but not number of hands played in them.

Hopefully I can give you some good feedback in this thread as I play more.
Cool, glad to hear you like it. Hand replayer and tourney lobby redesign will both come after the summer - I think when we have those we're much closer to being feature complete.

Yeh, they're playthrough bonuses worth 25% rb (as far as I recall, I can't check from here). I can convert to cash game tickets, tourney tickets or playthrough bonuses. Cash tickets have to be 100bb though.
Could you post your alias please?

I don't actually know this - it's a site wide thing rather than a poker thing, so I don't have much to do with it. Hopefully the rest of the thread can help here.

Cool, glad to hear you liked it. I'm English, but I lived in Stockholm for a year.

Sure, I'll convert it when I'm in the office on Monday.

The mailer went out on Friday, though I didn't receive it for some reason, so I'm not sure how widely it was sent yet. It may be that you're opted out of promotional mails, you can change this in your account settings on the website.

Right now on the front page of scheduled there is:
4 NLHE
5 Sattys
2 Ante NLHE
2 Multi-buy NLHE
2 PLO
1 Multi-buy PLO
1 Freeroll NLHE
1 Centroll NLHE
You have two types of cash games and two types of SNGs but for some reason ~10 types of tournaments? With only two being popular, NLHE freezeout and NLHE satellites.
This variety isn't needed in cash/sng so why should it be needed in tournaments?
The problem is that we also get feedback that people wanted more variety when we didn't have it. That said, when we relaunch the tourney lobbies I think we'll rebuild the tourney schedule from the ground up too.

I'm not sure what happens here, I'll ask the guy who is looking after the tourney schedule.
