There was a bug in the Challenge promo where the first major Challenge of existing player's quarters was at 50% completion. The bug meant that players were only awarded 50% of the points they should have been.

This has now been fixed - anyone still on the first Challenge should see an updated projection. Anyone who has already completed the Challenge will be credited the extra points at some point later today, the developers are creating a list at the moment.

Yup, thanks. They have rolling expiry so the system uses the one closest to expiry to ensure they don't expire earlier than they need to.

What do you mean by "kicked"? What happened exactly? Were you sitting out on other tables? Was the global sit-out timer activated?

I believe that this is because hand history only updates every couple of minutes. It'd be ideal if it happened faster than that but it'll depend on system limitations. I'll definitely keep this kind of problem in mind when doing the specs.

Good point, I'd prefer that freerolls didn't hit their caps. My main problem with freerolls is that I think there're players who would play a €1 tourney instead if there wasn't one running. I also think there are players who only play freerolls and will never convert to real money. So I'd prefer to increase the cap than increase the number of freerolls. I'll see if it's possible (we have system limitations, but have run bigger ones since).

A colleague did some ecology analysis. The following figures aren't quite right, partly because the back office doesn't understand that every flop is raked 1c minimum: it thinks a pot has to be 20c to be raked.

But from March to Dec, the average percentage of NLHE hands that were raked was 30.39. In Jan, it's 30.61. The average at PLO was 53.14, now it's 52.41. The PLO decrease looks worse than it is, as it was 51.11 in Dec and 50.82 in Nov.

I don't want to say at this stage that rake races don't harm the ecology as it's too soon to say. But the number of flops seen isn't hurt.

Yes, agree that it's a problem. It's on the bug list - I don't know if it'll be fixed in the next update, but it's being worked on.

Yes. This month I want to do basic specs for a hand replayer, a bonus shop, and an improved game history page. When they'll actually make it into the client depends on how hard they are to make and what else we have prioritised though.

Aha, that was me using industry jargon for the wrong audience.

The idea is that we can give personalised rewards for people in certain circumstances. So if we see someone suddenly start to play a higher cash game stake than normal after losing a big hand, we could give them some SNG tickets automatically and have them go and play that. Or if we think that NL50 is at a liquidity threshold (where adding one player is worth much more than normal), we could find someone at NL25 who sometimes plays NL50 and say "see 100 flops at NL50 today and we'll credit you with xyz".

That's the kind of thing that we can do with missions one day. I have a list of about 50 different uses - I'm sure some won't work, but I'm also sure we'll think of another 50 while we make them.

We could also segment the regular missions a lot more. Right now we do things like "do x at y stake OR do blahblah". Instead I'd rather have something we can tailor to specific player groups. I still want to encourage people to try lots of different game types, but we can probably target this better than we currently do. Encouraging a PLO player to "try out PLO" is going to cost us money for no real gain, for example. Better targetting means we can spend our money more effectively.

Our tools can only do daily amounts and only for all NLHE, but yesterday you played 14 hands for -€4 and so far today you played 891 hands for -€4.80.

I was playing three or two tables and suddenly one just closed. I wasn't sitting out and there was no timer nor i didn't check leave next bb. And when i found exact same table it closed again when i was supposed to post blinds. It has happened few times in these past two weeks. Next time ill take table number so it would be possible to track it down

I sent you an email some days ago, there was few questions about tickets and last months challenge points etc. Have you got a lot of backlog or missed the email?

Also not really sure if the challenge system is working correctly now. In my current major challenge I need to win showdown 100 times. Ive done it like 77 times and it is paying 13900 points atm. The lowest stake Ive played is plo50 and I have usually played like 1-2 tbls plo50 and 3-4 tables plo100-plo400, so not really sure how it can be this low? Should again be like at least double of what it says?

Tables will close if they're only 2 handed for a while, perhaps that was it? It'd definitely help to have table numbers and timestamps to help track it down if it happens again though.

You've hit this Challenge 24 times at NL50, 17 times at NL100, 34 times at NL200 and 10 times at NL400. As you're playing at very varied stakes the projection is going to change a lot. Let's say you only play at NL400 for the rest of the Challenge - the projection is going to increase, as the projection assumes you stay at the same mix of stakes.

So I have hit it 41 times at plo100 or plo50 and 44 times at plo 200 or plo400. Shouldn't the payout then be somewhere between plo100 and plo200 payout? Like I said its 13900 now, even lower than what it should be even if I played only plo50. Doing all in plo100 should pay 27,500 for example? twice as much as Im getting now?

In Q1 2015, Challenges award points based on how hard they are. On average, win a hand at showdown 100 times is expected to take 1,200 hands so it awards fewer points than, say, "Reach a flop after 3-betting preflop" - 75 times and 2,850 hands.

please consider doing something about speeding up "Steps" tourney.
Not sure if it's the same case in higher buyins, but at 1€ , players usually have to play about 2 hours (+10min breaks) to get 5 EUR only !
If you take for example 120-150 mins of playing cash tables, I'm pretty sure that one can win (or lose) more than that amount. Maybe some people like playing that long for such low potential reward but IMO this tourney is very slow.
Perhaps shorten the level duration or add ante sooner, if you agree.

Hey Andrew. Just wondered if there are plans to improve the previous hands section of the software. Sometimes it doesnt even loads hands and when it does sometimes I cant even find the hand. Would really love a hand replayer like stars if possible at all.

Agree - we reduced the blind time from 9 minutes to 6 minutes for today's tournaments onwards. Let's see if/how that affects numbers.

We only have two different structures (regular and no-ante) and all the changes of pace are due to blind times and stack sizes. I wanted to just have a very smooth blind structure and use it as often as possible so that people can get used to it.

I want to get my brother into playing poker but he is also my roommate.
He will be playing lower stakes at first (4Nl) while i am playing 25NL

Ive seen some scary stuff around these forums about pokersites confiscating money because they think someone is multiaccounting when 2 accounts play on the samen IP so i just want to know what the specific rules about what's allowed are.
