Hi all

Just to let you all know we have made some slight changes to some of our Majors as per below - name change only - however please note for the Daily $10K Turbo the add- on has been increased from 5000 to 10,000 chips!

Thanks

Colette

Thank you for this. I haven't played it since it was lowered.

Also can we expect a shorter time bank and time to act in the hyper rebuys. Stalling was a huge problem in these.

The waitlist has been bugged frequently for me in the past 2-3 weeks. It says I have 60 seconds or more left but I'm actually not on the waitlist anymore and can't take my seat.

Am I the only one who has been getting that bug a lot since this month?

I think that bug has always been there. Happens sometimes though I don't have a clue why as there is no pattern. 888 has similar bug

Yeah. Sometimes that prompts and you are last in the queue, and sometimes you are already playing at the table.

I guess it is a side effect of the lobby's lag.

So I recently started playing on party again and the software constantly freezes on me, its fine for a while and then it start to take 20+% of my cpu and when I join a table it freezes. Have a pretty standard comp on win 8, any fixes?

It has, but for me it recently went from being very rare to like every 5th waitlist attempt.

It was so totally unexpected that you brought up this very example ITT.

Start with a complete reinstall (see below).

There are (or at least were) some memory leaks in the software but I don't know if they are an issue anymore. There are also some 3rd party software that can help (I can't name them anymore as it was considered spam).

Updated version of my reinstall instructions.

Anyone having problems should do a complete reinstall.

This is what I do when this needs to be done. Do at your own risk

Quote:
1. Uninstall Party using the uninstaller in Control Panel

2. Delete Party related registry keys

Go to start - type regedit.exe - go to edit - find - search for Partygaming - delete all Partygaming folders - after you find and delete the first folder, you can click F3 to find the next folder

ONLY DELETE PARTYGAMING FOLDERS AND BE CAREFUL WITH ANYTHING ELSE. IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING, DON'T TOUCH THE REGISTRY YOURSELF

3. Do a Disk clean up - in win7 start - all programs - accessories - system tools - disk cleanup

4. Reboot your computer

5. Download Party installer from their website

6. Install it to a new location (not to the default one)

Lessu, those instructions are helpful but IMO absolutely should include at the start of step 2 "First, create a backup copy of the registry".

Do these freezes almost always coincide with an HEM2 freeze? I deleted partycommunicator but its is happening more and more for me.

From the beginning of the withdrawal process, how long in total has it taken you to withdraw?

2 weeks. Still haven't got the money yet but have been told it will be released. Part of the problem though was that their emails regarding the reasons for cancelling the withdrawal were going to my spam account so I never seen them. Not sure why that happened as all the other emails I had received from them had gone to my inbox as normal.

So Pokerstars is changing their FPP system to the dismay of their players... What if Party Poker removed all withdrawal fees, and started to offer 30% RB... Do you think that be enough for Stars players to make the switch? Would Party Poker be willing to make such a move to attract more players from Stars?

Where did you hear/read this? And they have removed fees for most transactions I believe, just not Skrill and few others. You can use any bank transfer free of charge.

As for your question I personally would play quite a bit more on PP if they had 30% RB but highly doubt thatll happen.

What do you think? Another money grab by Stars?

Imo, Party Poker should take advantage of this.
