It looks like due to the 2+2 new members rules I'm not able to PM anyone for a while.....any other idea, it is safe to post it here ?

Thank you for your time and quick reply.

type event viewer in search, run it, then go to applications in the event viewer. Under actions tab go to find, then type party gaming in the text box. Then keep clicking find next until you've found all the crashes

I don't use any and have NO problem with software crashing, suggesting it is a conflict with your external applications.
Just HEM2, Mozilla and Skype are generally running. I normally have between 6 and 10 tables going.

Just got an email from Party and they've refunded me the money that I had involved in pots when the client crashed.

Hopefully they can get their software to be more reliable as this is the hiccup that's preventing myself and I'm sure a lot of others to putting in good volume.

You think Party would be admitting the problem and refunding people if the problem was caused by a 3rd party application?

I am not saying I am right or wrong.

I am just pointing out that this problem seems to be solely with people using 3rd party applications (so it seems here and on other forums I am on).

What it needs is someone here to be able to say they do NOT use 3rd party software and DO have crashes.

My recollection from earlier in the thread was that people were seeing it regardless of whether they're running HEM2 or PT4. If that's the case then it's not unlikely that crashes will also occur where neither HUD is running.

If Party won't run without crashing when either of those programs is also running, it's deficient. I can't imagine that the proportion of players without a HUD accounts for much of Party's raked play. Running alongside HEM2 and PT4 is basic operating context for a poker site, regardless of your personal choice not to use a HUD.

I disagree, I bet most ppl DONT use it.

infact some sites are rather successful with them being banned.

its just the more regular regs who are likely to have it running

I didn't say most people; I said most of the raked play. We can agree to differ, but the very fact that most regs run a HUD means the site should work alongside the biggest ones. I think even Party would accept that.

I agree, especially when both PokerTracker and Holdem Manager have been in the Party Store. Currently they are selling Holdem Manager 2 Pro. If we are redeeming our rakeback for this it SHOULD run smoothly or Party shouldn't offer it in the store.

I don't use 3rd party software and party never crashes.

Well I use PT4 and only time I have issues is when sites completely down.

HEM2 is sold in the store but iirc PT4 is not. Maybe its more related to HEM and its software (which would be weird cause they sell it obv)

Can anybody using PT4 confirm or deny this theory?

Just weird some people have crashes, and others dont.

It's not the 3rd party software. It's the party software.

We can't agree or disagree because I didn't offer an opinion on whether or not it should work.

I was simply offering a different angle.

If ppl using HE2 are suffering crashes, one could rightly assume there could be a clash along the lines somewhere
