Regarding the complaints about the removal of the player list in the lobby, which Your software team so brilliantly implemented as a master move against the seatscripters

Well, I personally would happily supply you with a sh*tload of playernames who abuse the rules year in and year out.

Please take action against the seatscripts. Besides providing a sickingly unfair advantage, I can not overemphasize how much it scares the rec players when the same seatscript-players stalk the rec players from table to table to table over and over and over again while needing like a millisecond to spot the seatchange. It makes the rec players really uneasy and I'm sure they feel something fishy is going.

Not loading here, either.

We are working on a solution for this - and we have an ongoing investigation regarding why they are causing crashes - I will request a further udpate and feedback once I have more information/update to share.


I commented on this in some detail on another thread - to summarize -

We are making steps to deal with seating scripts within the software – this is the first step and the most visible. The process is no simple task – if this was so they already would have disappeared from the poker industry. We are trying to make steps which tackle the issue but have no effect on our user experience.
We are in the process of implementing these steps- soon we will be making even more changes which will eventually stop all seating scripts in full
This is a process we are committed to making but it will take some time.



We are expecting an update on this from our tech teams soon - apologies for the inconvenience, please bear with us while we work towards resolution.


Regarding the issue with the lobby info not updating - this is also currently under investigation.

All issues with Under the Tree should now be resolved in full

The point is that removing a visible lobby has not done anything to change scripting behavior, and that it only makes it harder to use the software for regulars. Pokerstars has implemented changes to deal with script abusers whilst keeping the lobby visible to players...Is this not clear to you guys?

This will impact some of our services and you will notice a reduced tournament offering from late evening tonight. The MTCT downtime will be for both real and play money games.

This downtime will not affect SNGs, FF or cash game play

You can use Partycaption to stop them. It's a 3rd party software and costs $30-40

goddamn your software crashes so much and cost me $300 dollars. It crashed while on my 5 minute break and I didn't notice it missing cuz i'm multitabling on several sites, so i just blinded out by the time i realized it was gone.

You're software crashes everyday, this was bound to happen to someone who plays every day.

Collette, you have misinterpreted this issue.

All players, regular and recreational need to see a proper lobby.
Making the lobby invisible is not the answer to eliminating seating scripts.

If you could firmly state that the use of seating scripts are against your terms and conditions, and then ENFORCE these terms and conditions, everything would be fine.

Step 1 : warn a player using a seating script
Step 2 : remove their VIP status if they are caught after being warned
Step 3 = strike 3 .... If they are caught again, Close their account !!

This will be a big enough deterrent for those players using illegal seating scripts.

You need to spend more time detecting the seating scripts, and far less time trying to change your already unstable software, potentially making it even more unstable.

Doesn't a poker site need a strong poker-savvy Managing Director in this regard? No techy Manager is going to admit that their department is totally incompetent, whatever their users say. Unfortunately, this appears to be a major problem across the board.

There seems to be a huge disconnect between the priority issues and what is actually being addressed by the software team. It's as if the people who are coding the software have never even played a game of poker before. Even a casual player can see what needs to be addressed. We are repeatedly bringing up the same issues and nothing is being done.

I just got disconnected and then the tables disappeared while 2 tabling fast forward games and a couple of cash tables mid hand. What's my recourse? Whom should I email?
