OMG

What the hell have you done now???

When you register for the $100 buyin tournaments it asks you whether you want to use a ticket or cash BUT IT DOES NOT tell you how many tickets you have available !!!!!!!!

Over a number of emails I have found that Party support apparently have no facility for a running total of tickets outstanding other than to go back months and manually add and subtract wins and buyins and so are unable to reliably inform you how many tickets you have in your account and, as currently, there is no choice to take t$ this is going to result in havoc.

Party rep - please tell us that you are going to be able to have a reliable total of tickets in the tourny ticket account available !!
Please tell us how we are going to be able to access this information.

edit : Also now there is no current balance in USD or GBP listed when I register for a tournament and as I record every buyin, every win, and my current bankroll on a spreadsheet at the time of buyin, win or bustout, that facility has been taken away. WHY ??

What would happen is, that my account is in GBP and my T$ are recorded in USD only, so when registering to a tournament your software would convert my GBP balance into USD and add the 2 figures together to give a total bankroll figure = wonderful - that figure ( or any balance at all ) is no longer there, who the hell thought that was a good idea to remove? !!!

It says I have 196 active tickets - mainly made up of freerolls and others??
Even when I use the filter it isn't accurate

I have a certain number of $100 tickets unused, this figure is the same on my accounts as the figure showing in the box when I (up until this update) clicked to register a $100 tournament.

Customer support inform me that I have far more $100 tickets available for use than I actually do!!

They are wrong, so if I don't have an accurate running total to screenshot,
( I do that every time I win or use a $100 or $50 ticket ) and next time ( if ) they tell me I have less than I actually do, I will lose that money for certain, as they never get it right and often contradict themselves depending on which support rep replies.

It was so much better/efficient/less stressful/time consuming, when they gave T$ for $50 and $100 satties.

We end up paying the same amount of rake on winnings whichever way we use it.
Being forced to play the $100 tournaments when the UK schedule starts at 7.30pm culminating in the middle of the night is not great for everyone.

i deposited now on party but i cant use my money on any games! Why is that? Support doesnt answer too! Please solve that problem. My login name is "gelibolu10". My screen name is "gelibolu11".

What is this site doing!!! I deposited on there and want to play but my money stays there and i cant use it!! I wanted to cashout but they want from me to validate my identity, which i did before!! When i try to upload my documents there is technical error!!!

+1. Seeing our real-time total balance and number of tickets is very important. It is much more difficult now to catch the errors.

Damn, it has been a long wait but I have to say i'm pretty happy with the last 2 updates on the client. I've been playing on party for quite a while now (~3yrs+) and honestly i've always been disapointed by how bad/annoying the software was compared to other good poker sites out there.

As I came here to cry when things were broken, I figured i'd come here to say thank you to the people at party who heard our complaints, took the players feedbacks and improved their services.

There is still room for improvements, but i'm overall happy with how party has changed in the last 3 - 4 months

@PartyRep - Thank you tell your people to keep up the good work! :P

Ps - (it was about time)

Edit: Also nice that we now have a clear message telling us when maintenance starts AND end. It was pretty annoying to have no tables showing up but have the status page say everything is good. xD

A picture paints a thousand words.
The top pic is from before last year's software upgrade when tourny tickets were called freerolls, then an example $100 buyin from last month showing available tourny tickets.
Both registration labels show the available tickets plus the total bankroll of cash and T$ combined in USD and GBP, and the 3rd is following today's update, as you can see, it supplies no information at all.

You can go too far in dumbing down the software.

I agree that it is an improvement without a reminder popup, but they didn't bother to add an auto addon or rebuy for classic table users.
