It would still stop whoever it is buying/using the Romanian accounts though...

Dont really get what your Point is? Do you think party has stopped these players or what? What about your own test of rhe system? Some stats from PTR is some serious investigation I must say!

Fwiw I hav never PLAYED vs these Romanian/Hungarian players and as long as my own account isnt in the fish pool I probably never will.

WKD33 -> tripo11 is now playing with nick name "grizzly13"

His romanian friend, former known as "niculae_m" is now play with a Moldavia (???) account with nick name "StefanthaSaint".

Wonder how these guys get their new accounts? Are they doing some sort of promotion on eastern europe poker sites and buying old/unused accounts or what?

Moldova has the lowest average wage of all Europe:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...y_average_wage

When you look at the cost of a computer and internet connection, it's pretty obvious why it's so easy for fraudsters to buy IDs off people who live in the rural areas of these East-European countries (ie: where the wages are even lower than the average ).

Romanian players issu has already been discussed here like 2 months ago or so.

We cant make new accounts from romania anyways. Wonder how they manage to

maybe they open the accounts in other countries and then just change address to romania
[PartyPoker] Ex-Official thread Quote

and why would they do that?

i thought the reason was obvious and that we were only talking about how they manage to do it ?

I wouldnt be surprised if those Romanian accounts were Party Poker run accounts introduced as part of their profit maximisation plan

To my fellow EX-Party grinders who play at Bodog/Bovada, is that site OK to play in? I don't want to deposit $1,000 at Bodog (through Pokersource) only to find out that I jumped from the Party frying pan and into the fire!

I used to play on there, cashing out can be an inconvenience. Might have to go by check or something, i'm not sure what methods they have now. That's really the only thing I can think of that you gotta account for.
