In my case it was:
I only tried to purchase the $500 cash item one at a time.
Purchase on Monday, 17th - worked
Tried again on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday - each failed
Purchase on Monday, 24th - worked
Support was contacted on Friday. It was going a bit back and forth, with screenshots. Then telling me on Monday, 24th:
You managed to purchase on Sunday (no, it was Monday again), so that's two times a week, everything is normal.
This is less than ideal. It appears that nothing is being done about it.
