Can you please tell us what days the hotel package for the Aria 500 cover?

If I win 2 full packages what happens? Do I get cash or T money for the hotel?

If I win a 2nd seat is it a must play or can I get T money?

If it's a must play but I don't need it as I survive my first day1 do I then get cash/T-Money?

You can choose, but they must be consecutive. Our events team will contact package winners to coordinate this.

- If a player wins a third or more $1,700 WPT500 package, the player will have the option to elect either: (i) an additional X3 (three) $500+65 WPT500 buy-ins; or (ii) an additional X2 (two) $500+65 WPT500 buy-ins and $500 cash towards travel and spending money. A player’s election is final and the promoter will not change a player’s election after it has been communicated.

- Players shall only be entitled to win a maximum of: (i) x8 (eight) consecutive nights hotel accommodation at the Aria Resort and Casino on dates to be determined by the promoter; (ii) $1,500 cash towards travel and spending money; and (iii) x6 $500+65 WPT500 buy-ins; and any surplus shall be paid to the player in tournament dollars. For the avoidance of doubt, player will not be compensated for any difference in value between options (i) and (ii).Players must take the $1,700 WPT500 package and the $565 WPT500 buy-in only as advertised, this package is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

It's largest chip stack forward, so if you survive your firist day 1 and have won additional buy-ins then you still play the further entries and will take the largest stack to day 2.

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Lessu,

Thanks for compiling this list of questions. Apologies for the delay in responding (they haven't been ignored; I was away for the last couple of weeks). I'll get back to you all with answers to these on Monday.

Thanks,
Paul

I receive this message at "0" memory usage -no aplication opened, but PartyPoker "Smartinstaller" after chosing destination install directory and pressing "I accept" this strange popup shows, however as you can see there is 1 GB of physical memory, no other windows, just fresh restart and attempt to install latest today version of PartyPoker software.

Any ideas what is wrong?

BTW: PS,FTP,Betfair,WHP and other poker software runs quite well even with smaller 512MB memory installed.
Just try to setup another PC dedicated to play poker there like in other poker sites-I have all machine dedictaed to one poker site and this 1GB is a lot of memory, while I do not need any poker tracker software on PartyPoker-I used to play a few poker rooms at the same time of a few computers and 3 monitors and it is disapointing I can not install PartyPoker under WindowsXP Service pack 2 due to this "out of memory" instalation issue.
I have firewall to protect those poker room machines from outside internet, but do not use Web browsers on those poker computers for security reasons and I have antyvirus software installed but activated on daily basis when not playing poker, so I have no idea why just Party Poker instalation crashes with such strange error?

Regards.
Aspok.
Hi Aspok,

This isn't a known issue that I'm aware of. I've asked our product team to investigate and I'll get back to you.

Thanks,
Paul

As per the mandatory playing best stack moving forward is a bad policy. If I'm chip leader on day 1a why would I any player want to use a second bullet for the prayer that he somehow obtains even more chips then his day1a performance. I really think firing a second bullet should be an option to the player and not mandatory. T money given out should be what's done.

Party_Rep / Paul

I don't think players, that are playing on normal tables already, should be allowed to be on waitlists for the smiley face tables as when it's their turn to take the seat, they'll just keep it reserved for 2 mins for no reason

Hey, does anyone know if bwin/WPT poker are run by the same people that Party is? That is, is my money still safe on those skins and can I get reliable cashouts to paypal?

I played the casual tables today:
evrytime i get the BB im getting dealt out and have to wait another full orbit to play again. After the Orbit i played i get dealt out again witout "Sit me Out" or "Sit out next Big blind" beeing active
Ist this another ****ty feature to keep winning players from the Casual tables away?

It happens only on casual games!

Have they got rid of the stupid "Opt In" policy or can't I just find the button?

Doesn't seem to be written in the terms but just to double-check:

do we need to opt-in for the above promotion?

pretty upset with party, feel like they have attacked the loyal fanbase who play everyday on multiple tables raking the most for them, by taking money out of those same loyal customers pockets by dividing the casuals poker players that regs need to continue playing. all you've done is made regs want to one table party and multisite elseware as well its riddiclous how you've chosen casuals over regs with a 1 table limit, when you need causuals to attract regs, shooting yourselves in the face, since i'll be playing most of my hands/raking more elseware now

About Party and Heartbleed

Quote:
Heartbleed is a security bug in the open-source OpenSSL cryptography library, which is widely used to implement the Internet's Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocol. Servers as well as clients, using vulnerable OpenSSL versions for TLS, can be exploited.

A fixed version of OpenSSL was released on April 7, 2014, on the same day Heartbleed was publicly disclosed. At that time, some 17 percent (around half a million) of the Internet's secure web servers certified by trusted authorities were believed to be vulnerable to the attack, allowing theft of the servers' private keys and users' session cookies and passwords
All OpenSSL versions from 1.0.1 have this bug, except of 1.0.1g
Party still use the old version, OpenSSL v1.0.1e
You can find ssleay32.dll and libeay32.dll files in Party folder, press Alt+Enter and see it:

Ok thanks for posting this, but can you give us a breakdown of what this means and how we can protect ourselves?

It means that unlike PokerStars/FTP, Party's player account information, passwords, and financial transactions could be hacked. I know that Canada had to shut the online services of several government departments over Heartbleed bug security concerns.

PokerStars Proactive with Heartbleed Bug

Hopefully, Party's Director of Information Security or Party_Rep will issue a statement soon, like PokerStars did a month ago.

You can download OpenSSL 1.0.1g from this site, for example. (Link to Windows 32-bit version at the bottom of the page, or direct link).
Unzip it and replace files in the Party folder.

You also need to update the files on the server of PartyPoker, but here I can not help.
