I got this latest bonus (50play) that everyone got, I accepted it today after clearing a $450 one. In the client it is showing as exhausted, not cleared. It also says I need to clear 57.58 points to clear it. Does anyone know what this means?

That means it's already in your balance, but can't be cashed out until you get the 58 points.

Side note on the ps4 promotion

pretty cool. i think the idea of sponsored tournaments (presumably they paid you some $ for advertising as well supplying the ps4 prizes) like this is fine, you make some more money, added value for players. it's win/win for everyone

however i think it could work a little better. tournies which had ps4s added a lot were the 8k 11r, and the 54$ super bounty.

a tourney with $1600+ and like 3k+. adding a ps4 to the winner won't really entice anyone new to play that tournament. anyone who ships it can buy a ps4 with the money for winning if they wanted to (besides regs in make-up, but they will likely be playing it regardless)

it'd perhaps be better to do it as a random draw to anyone who plays the tournament

First you have to be logged on when it happens which removes all the freedom poker usually gives and EVEN WHEN IM THERE I still dont play them because they're so worthless that it isnt even worth the very % of concentration I lose on my cash tables due to this table. And even if I lost 0% concentration, just the time I take to find this mtt in your lobby insta makes it not worth it

Thing is though that rec players do play poker for fun. hence the term rec. Promotions should largely be targeted at them, if you're playing for the money. It's better to have softer games when promotions attract fish, than tough games that reg break even in but with good rakeback value (not that party are doing either)

a lot of the bad players will enjoy playing these freerolls. if a fish busts his roll, but then ships/cashes the freeroll, it could entice him to deposit again and make him think he's actually good.

I would like an alternative as the freerolls aren't worth playing, but removing the freerolls altogether would be bad imo.

Just signed up for the NJ soft launch of party poker. When trying to download the client my security program blocked the install because of suspicious.cloud.9 which it identifies as malware.

Some people are saying it is a false positive, but I am not downloading the client. Can you explain what this is?

Party's software in the US is probably monitoring whether you ve got remote control running concurently like teamviewer and such so as to block it. Because of that, your av raises a flag.

Install the software. You aren't getting a virus.

Still getting the suspicious cloud 9 malware block when trying to install client.

I am able to log in with the browser and played most of the morning but now I getting a pop up that says "you need to be playing from NJ" and closed my tables.

I am playing from NJ, have been playing from NJ all morning and have the applet enabled to allow party to see my location. Not sure why after hours of play it thinks I am not in NJ.

By way of update, I was able to download the client from Borgatapoker without any malware warning. Unfortunately the client is just as ugly as the browser interface. I cannot believe I am yearning for the old partypoker client.

Was able to play on the Borgata client all afternoon without issue. Seems like the malware warning is only happening with the NJpartypoker download.

Since that last update, client is much more slower than it used to be.
Almost every time i click on tbl in the lobby while playing it sticks and scrolls selecting all tables. Also mouse sticking a lot like before on the tables.
It was gone for a while, and now its back with this last update.

Also, one more thing. Went all in in one hand calling down on the turn, winning the pot, but the villain insta mucked his hand so i couldn't see his cards. WTF? Clicked on the replayer and asked the HH in the e-mail, and when it was sent, same thing, couldn't see his hand.

I played on Party YESTERDAY, and now it is saying that I'm in not in NJ. I'm on hold to talk to support by phone to hopefully verify quickly.

If they verify my location by sending an SMS will that allow me to log in right away? I really don't feel like scanning in a document and waiting forever to verify. anyone know how to get them to send you an sms?

I'd want NJ only thread if I were you Sandmann. There's so much **** going on here and PP support is probably the worst (out of major sites) in dealing with it + they appear here like once a week and even then successfuly ignore some issues.

I do not mind sharing threads, but just as long as the Party Reps do not use the NJ software technical issues as a means to justify not answering pressing ethical questions...
