Hopefully the software update will include a fix for the Pokerfest events. I played the first three on Sunday but due to the hand histories bug, I haven't played a single Pokerfest event since and don't feel like grinding at Party any more.

Party isn't very attractive for botters, they have the 2nd best detection methods. No kidding. I used to hang out on bot forums for a while and people always warned not to bot Party or Stars cause there were plenty of safe sites like FullTilt and the rest. A bit odd indeed that they can't catch colluders/chip dumpers but do catch bots frequently. Also I think Party isn't very attractive for botters as in high rake/low rakeback.

Can I receive a transfer from another player or does party not allow this?

^You can only get transfers/gift certificates once you and the sender have both sent in your docs to get ID and address verified. It can take weeks/never for them to reply to your email (it's [email protected], not normal party support), but if you phone them after emailing, and are persistant, it can be done instantly

You play SSLHE right? The games are unbeatable IMO without under the table RB, the rake is nuts. They take 0.05 per $1 at 1/2 for example, a limped HU pot SB vs BB is raked 20 cents... on pokerstars rake is zero on all pots <$5. All the regs below 5/10 are breakeven at best over large samples on PTR. It was kind of ok back when they had dealt rake and decent promos, because the games are soft, but now it's weighted contributed (I earn points at 75% of the speed I used to now, playing 25/20 at 6max, about 85% speed playing 35/25), and the decent promos for cash grinders are being scaled back. If you can't at least maintain $49 rake/day and grind $3k palladium bonuses, definitely forget it. Just a warning, you can work it out for yourself I'm sure

all fixed limit .25/.50 to 3/6. ran bad higher up. feel happy to have had any winrate>0 in games with 4BB/100 rake

oh i got no clue about FLHE but i have heard the rake there is absurdly high

^Yeah it is, but with dealt rake, some decent promos, occasional free bonuses, soft games and some affiliate RB I was fortunate to get, it was just about worth it. Plus I'm quite fond of the software (with mods/TST/ahk scripts etc) even with all it's quirks/slowness, for some masochistic reason

Now Party has changed/reduced all those things (including the RB), it isn't. A bunch of other FLHE regs I chatted too are swapping sites too. Sad times

The last time they ran this all the cities were given away before the 2 months was up

Yea my Canadian buddy said F party. He was grinding a restricted release bonus and thought you'd get the % of it if you didn't unlock the current portion all the way by the expiration, guess what NO YOU DON'T! He was absolutely pissed because he grinded like 75% off a current 100 dollar portion at 10 and 25 NL. He said he's not playing at party anymore and is looking to cash out and play elsewhere. He said he'll miss the total fishiness but Party is just a joke when rewarding its players.

well he could have seen how the bonus is released from the active bonuses window...
