can someone from Party Poker stand up and tell me why your company is raking so much from HU players??? It makes it impossible to play on your site, and is disgraceful - if you want players to stay on your site you need to address this !

How long does it normally take to verify my details so I can transfer some funds P2P?
Sent everything in about 8 hours ago and it would be ideal if it was done before tonights pokerfest tourns.

^It doesn't ever get done by email anymore, u have to call ( +35020044110 ). If you search the thread you'll find posts from people waiting for a reply 7 days, 14 days, etc. before phoning, then support says meh ok whatever and approves it instantly (without even looking at it). This started happening to people a few months back

I'm planning on depositing £500 (sterling) on PartyPoker. According to the site I need to clear 9 times the bonus amount in PartyPoints to clear the bonus of 100%.

1) So does that mean I need to earn 4,500 PartyPoints for this bonus to clear?
2) I will be 6 tabling 10NL, 6max, 30-40 hours per week. Any ideas on how long it will take me to earn those PartyPoints?
3) Lastly, PokerStrategy deposited (essentially gave me free) $50 in PartyPoker on my behalf since I completed their beginner's quiz (which rewards $50). Does this $50 count towards the £/$/EUR 500 for bonus?

Thanks!

It depends how loose you play but i can clarify that 4500 points at nl10 6 tabling would take an absurd amount of time. My estimate is 2-3 months. At nl10? It's a bad idea to pin any major hopes on this endeavour.

6 tabling 10nl on party contributed you'll prob rake ~$2/hour. you need to rake 2250 to clear all 10 instalments of the bonus, and you get 180 days. i'm sure you can do the math from there. move up to at least 25nl imo, not that big of a difference and you did pass that quiz after all

the pokerstrategy thing should be separate and not affect the sign up bonus

Sounds like it will take a long time at 10nl. Do you know how much rake per hour you can do at 25nl? Thanks

Party poker's stock went up right after black Friday to about $3 per share and has since slowly declined to $1.75. I know PokerStars is getting way more players than any other site but how does Party poker compare to the other European sites?

party, i love your mtt schedule $5-$33 from midday to around 4pm CET but after that it's just terrible - my table count goes from 5 to 2. can you add some more mtts in that region? the $33s around midday are great, just make them run every 2 hours and add some more $22s late in the evening?

Ye when i play mtt's at Party which seems to be happening more and more these days i have to play at stars at the same time just to keep decent volume going. They cant really broaden the tourney schedule a great deal because they are overlaying quite often lately.

then reduce the guarantees slightly and add in more tournaments. if players realise there is good choice at all times in the day then they are more likely to play, which will increase traffic in other mtts cos they'll log on looking for games more often. if they log in and cant find a tournie in their range they'll try other sites and not return to party

Not sure if you guys use partypoker to place any sports bets or whatever, but just compared odds from sports sites and the difference in price is substantial.

Compared the Melbourne cup today and the difference in odds is ridiculous.

lesson learned.

Once you think we've had it all at Partypoker it can always get crazyer.

I get offered a reload bonus of 50% up to $150,-, I accept it and make a deposit of 90 euro and get an instant 135 euro, I think nice, but well probably the 45 is restricted so whatever, nice it shows up in the account instant.

Then I want to open the pokertables and it says 0 euro in account. I'm like WTF is this. Then I go to My Account to see the whole 135 euro is RESTRICTED, WTF, 90+45 restricted, who the hell even dares to restrict the money I deposit by myself, are they ****ing crazy???

I open chat support which responds pretty instant and I ask them if they are out of there mind to restrict the money I just deposited and they talk **** that I have to wager 3500 euro in casinogames to release my initial deposit+bonus+eventual winnings (yeah like I will ever win at that ****ing rigged casino games). I freak out totally on the chat and eventually they tell me I can forfeit the bonus to unrestrict my initial deposit.

Really what a FU-CKING IDIOTS

so you deposited to a casino bonus and didnt real the rules but still deposited and the got angry when you learnt the rules?

cant see what party did wrong...

with casino bonuses you get the money right away but all the money is obviously restricted. otherwise it would just be a freeroll for a player

and yeah you could just forfeit the bonus so whats the problem?

It's the same with bingo bonuses. First time it happened to me i went mental - i've never argued with a party rep like that. They always let you forfeit it tho.

The problem is that I opened my POKERclient and not a CASINO client, and the POKER client showed a bonus so why should I read through whole the bonusterms when the pokerclient is offering me a bonus?

I didn't know there was an option to forfeit the bonus. Besides your freeroll argument also makes 0 sense as they could only restrict the bonus money and not my deposit.

says pretty clearly if a bonus is valid for 'poker' or 'casino'

i'm all for criticism of party where it's due, but you're over-reacting just a little here, for the reasons lessu mentioned

that's a free $500 no deposit required poker bonus that they gave me the other day by the way. it helps to talk to support politely, not blow up

really? so you think it would be ok for you to deposit for the casino bonus and then withdraw your deposit and play only with the bonus money(this for the cases where account balance was 0 before getting the bonus offer)?

sounds like a good business plan.

Have you never done a casino bonus before?

Of all the things wrong with PP, I'm afraid this really isn't one of them

Couple of years ago I also got some free bonuses that I could play with, the only restriction was that I couldn't cash it out but I could lose it just as easily.

You can go **** yourself cause the bonus wasn't presented as a casino bonus. The pokerclient offered it and there wasn't any mentioning of casino or pokerbonus.
