Yeah it's not just flat down, kinda spotty/intermittent. You get in like 5% of the tries, but then even when in, it's error message after error message for half what you try to do. I got back into my game and all but one other player was sitting out.

Yes it's down, you act like it's a normal occurrence, it's not.

It's back up for now, rare that there are issues like this then? Decided recently I'd give Carbon a try again after playing elsewhere because of the smooth software primarily. Wish they had more players onsite is all.

Very rare, I would say goes down the least of WPN, Horizon network, or Bovada. The players unfortunately will always be a problem it seems. There has seemed to be a bit more of a trickle in lately, but I constantly see overlays, which is not good for the poker ecosystem.

whats the biggest plo games that run on carbon/merge? It's a real shame, their software is the best in poker imo aside from old ftp. They banned me, and many others, in 2015 for being a winning reg. Then maybe 2 years ago they randomly unbanned me when the site is dead now lol, too bad.

500 no idea how often it runs, since I don't play, but I would assume a lot less than holdem and right now 3 games from 50 to 500. 0 omaha games from 50-500 atm.

I was playing nl200-500 usually. This year I was down 2k there, but on the bigger sample I was winning maybe around 2k/month so nothing crazy I would say. I think there were bigger winners than me there..

Ban is one thing, but why they not even answer to my emails for 1 month? I had nearly 4k in my account when I got block, so its quite bit of money for me..

Yeah that's pretty modest. I heard of a friend getting banned for winning $40k or something in maybe 8-12 months but yeah $2k a month seems relatively reasonable especially if you're getting/keeping games going.

Keep us posted, their lack of response is concerning. I hope you get paid out and everything is fine besides their customer service skills.

My friend was robbed by carbon poker. He got message today that they wont talk with him anymore and wont give him back money because some paragraphs of their rules, they didnt explain what exactly he did wrong. He had 12k$ in his roll, so it s big money and they just took it. It s pretty insane that we have such scams in poker world in 2021 and it s not some random app, they exist so long in the market.

I asked support to check their game history in mtt. They always play all accounts or none, and I could see it so many times, I observed Sunday 162$ tournament and also everyday 109$.
What did support do? They blocked my chat. I was still printing money there, just avoiding blackjack on omaha
and also avoiding playing with colluders when they sit to cash tables. I was the most active player on soft, making action, opening tables. Finally they blocked not only my chat but also my account and my money. I ve never collude there, I played mostly hu games, waiting for weak players. There were few regular big fish players, just donating, that s why I kept playing there. Regards."

Same email for me, funds lost I guess with no specifying the reason. Seems they decided for money grab banning winning players and confiscating their rolls.

Ive created my carbon account around 2016 when I began to play carbon at NL25 in Thailand.
I played for maybe 6 months or so at that time.
I didn’t touch my account and wasn’t in Thailand for most of the time after that.
Around Christmas 2020 I was searching for new sites and was also back in Thailand so I contacted carbon if its still ok to play from Thailand. They wanted me to verify my account again. After sending my docs they said verification is done and that I could play again.
I played maybe 3-5k hands and won a little over 3k USD. After mid January I basically stopped playing because I didn’t have much time to grind. Up until that time I made 2 small withdrawals around 1-2k USD each.
So I haven’t really played more than a few hands for a couple of weeks until I decided that I wanted to cashout all remaining 1.5k USD or so.
My account was locked (I noticed by the end of February) and I contacted them. I will post the whole email conversation:

I have sent the new docs they requested and they have been quiet since that.

Why ask me to verify my identity before unlocking my account and let me deposit to then let me play and then freeze the account again after I took a break for many weeks ?!

They had some decent traffic even up until a few years ago. Back when they were running those daily cash grab bonuses for each stake, that promo brought out all the nits. But damn did we collect a lot of free money (or rake back, whatever you wanna call it).

Anyway, yeah they had a good thing going and screwed the pooch by essentially not really giving AF.
