he simply just taped the top part of the poster to the wall, lifted the bottom part to enter the hole and just left it hanging this way. and yes, he prayed a bit that the bottom part wouldn't flap around in the draft that the hole created....glad i could help.

That's all I could come up with too. But it just didn't pass the smell test. When the Warden threw the rock, the poster never moved at the bottom. Just a hole where the rock went through. Just sayin...

but when the rock was thrown, we don't actually SEE the rock hit the poster. we only HEAR the rock hitting the poster and continuing through the hole.

Guess that's why I felt poster taped back on wall. Warden puts finger then hand thru it with resistance consistent with whole poster taped as opposed to bottom of it not. Just my impression. There is a comments & improvements box in lower left hand of main lobby.

tbf it seems like a lot of things this week have reduced guarantees, including the sunday big ticket which is down to a $100k, and the big $11 down to 15k

see, mike's got my back...by the way.... this book is a great read. it's fun to differentiate the movie verse what was written in the book. it's actually titled 'rita hayworth and shawshank redemption' and includes other works. it was written as a novella which basically means short story.

you make some noteworty points and may be correct. i will now take the time to reevaluate all the facts. i am nomad.

So-- people have been receiving Western Union withdrawals-- but has anyone received a max check in the last 30 days?

It looks like they have sent out some checks over the past 30 days. Just based off what people were reporting on here it seems to have fallen into a pattern of a big batch one week and a small batch the next. Last week I didn't read a ton of checks being reported and it seemed the week before there were A LOT more checks and that pattern has seemed to hold true for a bunch of weeks if u went back thru the thread.

Not many skrill/bank wires processed last week,I didn't see many checks getting processed either.Let's hope this week is better. Im over 5 weeks now waiting on my wire to be processed.

yesterday's sunday big $11 had a $15k guarantee and finished with $1.2k overlay...tourney always used to be a $20k guarantee as long as I can remember...smh

like i said, If i get it. GREAT. But not expecting it. And Carbon is no longer a viable plan for someone who does this for a living.

Let me start by saying I feel everyones pain/frustration and 3-4 month waits make it hard for anyone that actually plays for a living to see Carbon as a viable option..at least right now anywase.

That being said, the issue is not money. I see all of these posts on overlays/etc but the reality is that is not the real issue. Yes, they are dropping the guarantess because traffic is down but if you do the math on the info we do have, even with MASSIVE overlays, they are still raking in plenty of money and more than enough to offset.

The issue is the payment processor. When one goes down or changes what it will or will not allow it puts these types of companies in a bind. Understand that fee's are not the issue either. The issue is the amount of checks that the processor will allow per week. If they overload it they will lose it. If they don't offset with a new processor or lose it we are all in TROUBLE and might as well kiss our money goodbye...this would hold true for all sites.

Now I did finally get from a supervisor that they will likely use giftcards as they can get around the processor with this until they get new terms with their processors or are able to get new ones but this is still likely a couple weeks out. I know giftcards suck but at least it's something.

FWIW, he also said they process check requests Monday's and Wednesday's so my guess is some of us (hopefully the Feb guys) will get checks sent Tuesday and Thursday of this week.
