Strange shid going on with Bovada... SNGs player/seat numbering all messed up.

First, the seat numbers are all scrambled. I'm shown as Seat 2, next player is seat 6, then 1, then 5, etc.

Second, if I look at the last hand I'm noted in that hand as Seat 8 (not Seat 2 as shown at the table), Seat 6 at the table shows in the hand history as Seat 9, and sequentially thereafter.

Four tournaments were cancelled again. Now they are running as scheduled, but for how long? ... maybe it's a good day to take off.

derp - how will it help combat collusion?? I tell you I'm at seat 2 shown on the table and you tell me what seat # at the table you've been assigned. We could still collude right?

They can absolutely still collude, but not as effectively. They can no longer choose where they are in relation to each other. they can no longer avoid one having the BTN over the other's BB, for example.

One downside (or upside if you're this type player) is that SNG multi table grinders start the registration at several tables and get assigned seat #1. It's always nice to know that seat #1 may be a quality level grinder.

If they randomize the seat assignments that's lost.

i had a couple error this AM to saying something about "file does not match"

I was refunded for the two tournaments but one of the tourneys was a 40+4 and they only refunded me 10+1, i clearly stated it was a 40+4 to

Edit2: I have been disproven in my theory. Tournaments failing seemingly randomly.

Registered just to say this. Bovada MTTs are failing. 3 tournaments for me today have not started, saying instead something like "file client does not match". The buy in is returned.

Here's the thing - this is deliberate. This ONLY happens in guarantee tournaments where registration is low. No guarantee runs fine. Populated Guarantees run fine. What's the point of a guarantee if cancel the tournament? In my opinion, Bovada is doing something pretty shady.

Edit: Just had a 4th tournament do this. Guess what? It was a 1k guarantee. SKETCHY. Getting my money out.

I can't remember the last time a MTT I was in had an overlay. Late registration is so long you can count on a prize pool of 1.5 times the Gtd amount in just about every one.

It may be by design as this is something that many have asked for; random seating. It makes collusion harder.

Has anyone used a "free bet" bonus?

I have $250 free bet from bowlopoly promo and am not sure how it works. I will call customer service for clarification, but seeing as how they gave me incorrect information about this bonus already my confidence in them is low.

I want to make sure that i couldn't use it on something at ridiculous odds like -2200 and then get a bonus credited for like $260 or whatever.

I imagine that you would only get back the amount that is won, though, not the amount won plus the amount wagered like a real bet with own money.

Probably pretty obvious, but i'm not too bright...

Yeah i think they added this feature from today's update.
