All you riggie ****ers need to gtfo to the riggie thread. There is no doom switch on Bovada for winning players. If there is, it's specifically been rigged to turn me from the fish I am into a very long term winner from year to year.

On a site like Bovada I would be careful trying to 'get too much'. They have control over your money. U have no one to cry to if something happens. If the email says 'u must have received email to enroll' what is to stop them from seeing u violated Terms and Conditions.

Look Bovada is bad enough tying to get money when we get disconnected. I really wasnt serious about Doom switch. But Bovada has shown they don't like regular, withdrawing poker players. Now y'all gonna try to get free money out them? Be careful. They have nothing to lose. On the other hand we do

Bovada ain't PokerStars. They wouldn't give 2 fks to close Ur account n tell u to EAD. Just my opinion as to why I won't register for that promo
Again theoretically yes, but what evidence do you have that they do this?

I have never heard of them closing someone's account for anything besides being accused of cheating/colluding/chipdumping. If they were closing people's accounts because they signed up for a promotion they weren't invited to we would of heard about it by now.

You are way too paranoid. Any reasonable person interprets "you must have received email to enroll" to mean you may not be eligible to receive the bonus. No reasonable person would interpret that as your account will be banned if you sign up for this without being invited.

Dear Mr. XXXX,

We’re contacting you about your recent payout request via our Bank Wire method with Reference Number XXXXX in the amount of $9500.

As a precautionary measure, to avoid any potential issues with your payouts, we're no longer able to process Bank Wires to an account under your name. We can still process payments via this method, however you'd need register a new account that is not under your name or gaming related. This could be a business or corporate account or an account under a spouse's name.

In the meantime, the Bank Wire method has been disabled on your account. If registering a new bank account isn't something you're able to do, we can proceed with sending the funds through either Check by Courier or Credit Card. The maximum payout for check is $3000 once every 7 days and for credit card it's $2500 once every 7 days. For example, if you wish to proceed via Check by Courier, your $9500 wire will be split into 4 checks; $3000, $3000, $3000 and $500.

Please confirm how you'd like to proceed at your earliest convenience. We understand this may be an inconvenience to you and we'll work to make this as seamless as possible. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Regards,

Bovada Player Advocacy

This has been happening to others lately as well pattay. They seem to be afraid or implying that some banks are starting to or might start to identify poker players because of frequent wires.

so is their motivation behind this to create an obstacle for wire cashouts, so that people choose checks more often? if i were married i would just sign my wife up for the cashouts, and it would be business as usual, but i guess for people like me its kind of annoying because i would rather not get someone else involved in receiving 10k wires

their motivation is not having problems with payouts. banks have been making it a lot more difficult for people to get wires and bodog is trying to have a workaround so people can still get wires.if you havent noticed it's really hard for us players to cashout of poker sites these days and bodog has done a great job of consistently getting people their money very fast.

I received the same email that you got after my last wire withdrawal. Fwiw i've had trouble with my last few wires from them and wasn't too surprised when they sent me this nonsense. This time they sent me that garbage and have completely taken away my wire withdrawal option. Pretty sketchy email tbh.

I think that I need to either disable the pop to front feature, or stop surfing the internet while I'm playing. I'm in the middle of hitting the enter key to scroll down a page on my browser when suddenly bovada pops to front and I misclick min 3bet 85o from the small blind into 5 players. I did manage to bluff a guy off AQ on a AKxxx board, though. phew.

You can go into "settings" and disable clicking Enter to bet. Probably better than disabling pop-to-front if you want to surf the web while playing.

Just as an update, an email to Bovada support verified the legitimacy of the offer. I would have done that first, but I am new to poker support guys that respond in less than a month.

Has anyone else who plays HU notice that it is becoming more and more common for people to disconnect and get booted soon after they win a big pot? It feels like they're hit n running but on an anon site they shouldn't care right since they won't gain that rep anyways? Is it just a coincidence?

Just wondering if others have noticed this or if its just a coincidence with the people I've been playing.

Started putting in some PLO cash volume a couple days ago and having a blast so far. A couple questions:

1) I noted a few hands where I was curious about villains' mucked/folded hole cards and just tried looking at the earliest hand exactly 24 hours after it occurred, but the full hand history is still not available despite the "24 hour" rule. Exactly how long does it take?

2) I haven't played online cash in ages and my last use of any software was PT3 Hold'Em in 2010. Any way I could parlay that purchase into a discount for PT4 Omaha (which I would then use with the Ace Bovada hand converter)? I realize that's a long shot but I lost track of the PT/HEM scene a long time ago and don't want to miss out on any kind of discount available. Or, if anyone has any comments generally about the most effective way to track PLO cash data, I'd love to hear them - I like to keep careful track of my progress and make use of filters but simply have no clue what the current landscape is such to help me achieve those goals.

Thanks for any help.

I keep getting "SSL Handshake Failed" when I load the client. I'm on a mac if that matters but I've never had a problem until recently. Anyone else?

I'm having the same problem right now on my 2011 MBP. Sucks, because this is the time I use to download hand histories and move them in to PT4!!!
