They were stealing your money way before Black Friday.

So, no, its not obvious why you would say you miss a site that was really just a scam ..... that was stealing your money and using it to by lobsters and put dickheads into tournaments.

I don't understand why ANYONE would EVER have fond thoughts of a company that intended to steal 100% of your balance (and they were pretty close until the DOJ stepped in and saved us)

Simply factually incorrect. FT did NOT have the player funds on black Friday. They didn't pay because they simply didn't have the money. You were paid because there was an agreement between poker-stars (their rival) and the DOJ.

I don't understand how anyone who is contacted to the poker industry doesn't realize/remember this.

Pretty simple: FULL TILT STOLE YOUR MONEY. Period. It was gone, gone, gone.

The main reason they didn't have the money was because of deposits losing players had made which never made it through the banking system (because of DOJ interference). I read somewhere else (probably on 2+2) that the amount of uncredited deposits was extremely close to the entire deficit. I personally know a player who made hundreds in deposits the last year FT was active in US, had the funds credited to her account every time, lost all of it each time, and none of the money ever left her checking account.

I think it was a poor business decision for them to credit the accounts before receiving funds, but other than that I have no problem with the way FT ran things. I always received requested withdrawals, and the time a check bounced (again because of DOJ "enforcement" of an ridiculously improperly interpreted law), they resent the check, credited my account with $100 bonus to more than cover any bounced check fees.
Even that poor business decision was an attempt to serve their customers, and I believe that if BF never happened, everyone on the site would have been paid whenever they requested.

If everyone went into your local bank branch and emptied their accounts on the same day, they wouldn't have the cash either; that doesn't mean the bank is insolvent.

Not sure why you cant see what we r saying. Not a big deal as u have very strong negative opinions about FTP and i dont plan on changing ur mind.

As far as the bovada thread....

I know there is a hud, but I will not buy it. My question is this:

Is it possible to learn to multi-table 9 max FR without a hud? I'm talking 2-4 tables max? Keeping track of 18-36 players in your mind + player notes?

There are some human beings capable of doing so. Whether or not you are one of them is a different story.

Been doing so for years. HUDs can blow me.

So wait…….

Is Bovada not cashing out currently? A friend called me and told me that a couple people were talking in the chat about how they can't cash out.

You can cashout. But the problem is you have to pay fees no matter what. I requested a free monthly check. Deposited it to my bank and had to wait over a month for it to go through collections. In the end, I paid $105 in fees. Not to mention all the fees they charge to deposit and the insanely high rake.

I'm never going to play on this ****ty site again. Despite having the worst poker players it's still not even worth it.

What kind of fees did you have to pay for a "free" check?

Free fees: now I have an excuse for my shrinking bankroll

Thing is, unless you're using the in-client player notes, it's sometimes hard to even know if Player4 from 5 minutes ago is the same Player4 that you're playing now, or if they got up and another player took their place while you didn't notice. Of course, it's not a huge deal, since everyone else is dealing with anonymous players, too, and probably isn't going to get a good grasp on your playstyle in the few minutes they're playing with you.

I said free check because supposedly Bovada offers 1 "free" check a month. The check I deposited was sent to collections and my bank charged me a $65 international fee. On top of this, I am missing $40 as I was credited $105 less than the check was written for.

This is absolutely not true at all. Maybe an idiot at your ****ty bank screwed up and you had to pay fees, but there are plenty of us who pay no fees on the 1 free check per month. Sorry, but any fees you pay are from your bank and not Bovada.

Sounds like your bank sucks, not sure what this has to do with Bodog/Bovada

The only fees I have ever paid, in the last 6 years, was when I wanted two or three checks in a single calender month (in which case it used to be $35, now its $50).

They do not charge you a fee if its your first check of the month. If they do, kindly ask them to refund the $50 - they will.

Anyone know if you have to be present to win the $2K Vacation shootout? I was hoping I could just register and check back if I won.
