yea I was fed up with this crap. I made 5bb/100 @ FR on merge $50 NL.
For someone to be really successful on these sites they must do the following.
#1 exploit every advantage a HUD has to offer.
#2 buy hand histories
#3 research those hand histories of your opponents for hours
#4 get notecaddy and exploit it to the max
#5 constantly figure out what the next new exploitation is from software and strategy based on what the field is doing.
Its pretty sad that some new player can sit down and totally understand your game already and you never met him. To me that's not poker.
I do know some who take 100% advantage of the above and win a hell of a lot of money online. One person I know makes ~$300 an hour last I was told. He is way better than I am. But the tools give him such an advantage over his opponents and he knows how to abuse the stats.
If you know that X player folds in Y spot Z percent of the time and Z percent is below optimal just by 2% you can play perfectly if you can read those numbers. Live there is no X,Y,Z just everything else that must be formulated intuitively and with experience to figure out your opponent including his state of mind and how he thinks.
I find live poker much more interesting. Bovada falls in that category since you have no idea who you are playing. I am glad they finally put in notes though per session.
