total grunch here:

I signed up for account a couple years ago through rakereduction.com, but I never deposited.

Does anyone know, if I deposit and play now, will the people who used to run that site still receive money for my play? Seems gross to give these people more money.

Thanks!

tried signing up on carbon or lock and same ****

anyone else having debit/credit deposit issues? specifically visa?
I know two people that tried in the last week. One worked, one didn't. Seems pretty standard in the US market. CC's simply can not work 100%... even a card that worked many times in the past can fail to work in the future.

As long as their affiliate account wasn't forfeited for some reason, it's highly likely they'll still get something off your play.

I was just given a ticket for the Sunday $150 and am randomly given tickets every now and then. I get drunk and play the blackjack on the side when playing poker so maybe they just feel bad that I lose so much in BJ.

Hey could someone answer a question about Bovada for me? I'm 19 years old and live in Nevada. Im pretty good at poker and have won good money playing with people outside of casinos.. However, I really would like to start playing online.

Bovada states 18 years to play ( Or ) legal age in your jurisdiction. ( i live by reno). I was wondering if I would run into any problems due to my age when it comes to cashing out. Thanks

18 and over is good for nearly all online pokersites and bookmakers. Should be fine.

If you make a note on someone and he sits out and rejoins again or rebuys, it says the note is still there but the actual contents of the note disappear. Does this happen to anyone else? It's frustrating as the note is really all I have on the person.

Little confused but Bovada is 100% USA only right?

Bodog is for ROW players? But Bodog page now shows as coming soon. So no ROW players can play on Bodog/Bovada at this point?

Is that correct?

What I believe is true is not that "Bovada is 100% USA only", but that 100% of USA players play on Bovada. Also, that Bodog and Bovada share player pools.

Where can ROW players sign up?

If I go to Bovada it says I can not sign up from my Region. If I go to Bodog it takes me to http://www.bodog.co.uk which says its coming soon?

Email support. They pulled out of some regulated countries such as the UK I believe

AFAIK, Right now, Bovada is open to USA and Canada only. There is talk of opening up to some Asian countries, but that has not happened yet.

I don't know about Bodog.

It's a very good choice for American players. In fact, I checked PokerScout yesterday and it briefly passed the Revolution gaming network for the most US player traffic.

Short answer is, they can not currently. More detailed answer below:

  • Unfortunately the only brands we offer are Bovada.lv and Bodog.ca. Bodog.co.uk
  • Bodog.co.uk is no longer accepting any new player registrations
  • Bodog.co.uk will remain in operation as a standalone Casino brand and will accept new signups in the future when its new Asian-optimised website is launched
  • As such, the Bodog.co.uk Sportsbook, Racebook and Poker Room features were removed Friday, October 5th, 2012
  • Players will have the option to request a cash out or continue playing on the casino product as usual There are also changes to Bodog.eu as the Bodog brand will use the site to redirect the relevant players by region to a Bodog operated licensee: Bodog.eu
  • Effective immediately Bodog.eu is no longer serving players directly but, where applicable, will redirect to the relevant Bodog licensed operator
  • Bodog.eu players will have their balances paid out in full
  • This chance was made back in October, 2012.
  • Therefore the only countries available to players are Canada and USA.

Those are official statements.

Bodog sold many of its operations to Bodog88 recently. I suspect that they will take up ROW players as soon as they are able.

Wouldn't any traffic numbers for Bovada be total guesswork since tables are hidden?

can someone please explain how you get to $120/week for this most recent Bovada's poker promotion?

When add up all of the bonuses, I get $90, not $120...

Thank you for responding, I appreciate it.

Are there any regs ITT that had rakereduction.com as their affiliate? Are you guys just sucking it up? Really seems wrong to give these crooks money, but it's the only way I can play on this site, afaik.

Bovada doesn't, that's Bodog.ca. Same network, but slight distinction.

I think it is $30 a week max bonus times 4 weeks for $120 total.

Seems kinda silly that you can get $100 for almost half as many days.

Directions in email and site unclear, got genitals stuck in CD drive.

tx, makes sense now. Unfortunately, this promo, is pretty much worthless now. I don't understand, why all of these promos target primarily the micro players

you'd think if nothing else these people would understand the concept of 'diminishing returns'...

I think the website is clear. Earn the points necessary, get bonus for that week. Each week is independent. I'll likely be doing the 4 days/week for slightly less bonus option.

Network wide right now (and they do call themselves a network now). USA and Canada only. I specifically asked about multiple other countries first and then just flat out asked for a list of all available countries for all Bodog owned/licensed brands. This information however is only for the poker room. Other jurisdictions can enjoy the casino/sportsbook/horse racing/etc.

Just to clear this up.. the Bodog Network does server more than just the US and Canada. There is also Bodog88 that covers many areas, along with TLC88.com, who will soon be opening up to the Bodog Network. If you need info on who it is each operator serves, I would recommend contacting the operator directly. But yes, the network does serve more than the US and Canada.

FYI guys, I made a bovada hand converter so you can now grab bovada hands and import them into HM or PT. You can't utilize HUD as it's against T&C's, but you can track and review your play, run filters, graphs, etc...

I was initially going to give it away for free, but it took a lot more to develop and the cost got quit high . So asking a modest fee to support it because there will be updates. Even while in development there were 2 HH changes by bovada.

So to Mods - hopefully link free mention is ok, because not really sure how to make people aware of it on here, as this isn't exactly a money making venture although I'd love to recover my development costs. If not, just kindly let me know. Not trying to break any rules.
