I actually received one of these 'shady' rake back deals offering 15-20%.

There is nothing I would like more than rakeback on the bow. He even threw in a 'you get a new 1k deposit bonus!'

He explained to me that his commission was 35%+ and I will just get half every week on a trusting basis although I have never met the person at all.

It was so shady. I had to w/d my funds and get a friend or cousin etc to sign up a new account. Then give them the money to deposit after clicking their link.

I want rakeback but I had a billion questions.

Some of which:

1. This is a clear violation of t&c which is one account per person.
2. How could this be legit? how could I trust you?
3. What happens when a check bounces or I need to call CS? Do I now have to coach a female on how to talk to them? They have to deposit it with teller which is a scary thing for someone who doesnt play online poker. This also takes time out of their day. What if they are working and miss the check delivery? What if they can not successfully sign the check over? What if They have to go to bank 3 days in a row to work out an issue?
4. Bovada will likely detect my ip address etc. Or they will detect similiar playing patterns. If caught I will could never be allowed to play again. Funds could be consficated. Bovada is the best place to play in america and they have the best security. If this is legit can't i use my real name and you just link my acct with rakeback?
5. It's only 15% RB. I would rather study poker a little more and win without some adv that others don't have.

And it's definitely definitely against terms and conditions that could result in termination of account and forfeiture of funds. If you are good at poker at all and would like to play in the future delete any email you receive like that.

As far as wanting rakeback on Bovada, there is no official one and its your own risk to sign with an affiliate and then hope they go through with their promises of giving you a cut of their profits. The odds of that happening are probably 2% max.

So i contact Bovada about this. Turns out the clearing the bonus was indeed screwed up. They fixed my account. It was giving me a fraction of the points needed to clear the bonus. Not sure if this if effecting everyone since the bonus structure changes.

It was just you. Log into the website (not the client), and go to bonus statements. It'll tell you exactly what they are for. They occasionally email people personal bonus offers if they haven't played in a while or otherwise want them to play more.
